If you are looking for a truly authentic Icelandic adventure, then this is it! During your stay at the retreat you will have horseback riding lessons, you will ride on the largest black beach in Iceland, you will be served local organically grown food and you will have a new best friend - your horse! Upon your arrival you will get your horse that you will take care of for the next 24 hrs. Together you will take lessons, ride in the beautiful nature of Iceland and spend time just being friends. The retreat is designed to give you a relaxed insight into the Icelandic horse life and to experience the Icelandic nature on the back of an Icelandic horse. You do not need to be an experienced rider to participate in the retreat. During wintertime (October-March) we have the additional bonus of the Northern lights that we get to experience if the weather conditions are correct.
