O que você fará

A wonderful way to understand Ancestral Oaxaca and the Cosmo vision of the Mixtecos. I will pick you up at your hotel bright and early to drive to the Mixteca Mountains (About 1.20 hr away from the city) Our first stop will be at the most iconic temple from the XVI Centurywhere you will be able to discover the outstanding architecture based in the syncretism originated after the Spanish conquest. We will then drive to the magical town of Teposcolula a one of a kind town named "Pueblo Magico" where we will visit a Prehispanic Mixteco residence. We will also have time to enjoy a traditional lunch.
Lastly, on our way back, we will stop at a Dominican temple that resembles the Santo Domingo temple in Oaxaca city.
This cultural adventure is a one of a kind where you will get to indulge your senses and have a different understanding of one of the most amazing cultures that conforms Oaxaca nowadays.

I am a Mixtec woman. Born and raised in the Mountains of the Mixteca area of Oaxaca. I like to consider myself a Cultural Ambassador that enjoys sharing the ancient culture and cosmo vision of my ancestors. I also like to show around the mystical places that are not easily accesible to tourist. Besides sharing the culture, I am also a Traditional Mexican Healer which has allowed me to share with other people the healing techniques of my ancestors. I have also participated in different cultural events with the Tourism office of Oaxaca and I am the owner of @Oaxacamystical

We enjoyed our day with Ines so much - including private tour of a beautiful unknown cathedral, authentic lunch at a delicious local eatery, tons of information about prehispanic communities and an impromptu parade to top it all off. We were the only tourists everywhere we went. Inés was so fun and informative and we even scheduled a limpia for each of us for the next day. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with indigenous culture and history! Take this tour to experience something beyond the usual spots in Oaxaca.

Ines is a beautiful and special human who, through her openness and spiritual honesty, makes room for those around her to explore and talk about own their own journeys. Our day exploring the Mixtec culture was a learning journey for all of us, and learning alongside Ines made it all the more engaging to discuss our findings. Because Ines has strattled indigenous, Mexican, and North American cultures, she is a unique ambassador who can offer access that others may not. We thoroughly enjoyed our day together. Thank you, Ines!
