The experience include
As soon as you get into the room you will have an introduction to the Dj setup. I wil teach you how to beatmatch records and learn to use the Dj gear. I can teach you on either a turntable or CDJ.
The goal is to teach you to beatmatch records, from handling a records to create a mix.
I have a variety of records from House-Disco-Deep, basicaly electronic music, but your welcome to bring your own records. (cd's, USB, vinyls)
During the lesson, you have the option to record your mix session, you can bring it back with you on your usb key or i'll send it to you by email.

Alex was super easy to communicate with with before the whole experience.
He was an amazing teacher, it was my first time around this equipment and he was very patient and encouraged me to experiment. He has an epic music collection and a real passion for what he does. I look forward to getting another lesson from him!

This individual [Alex] is truly talented. Showing me from novice to pro techniques. He's not there to impress you, rather to enhance your skills in something he's truly is passionate about. I knew nothing going in and what I learned was helpful and inspired me to do more, however I need to practice what I've been taught and return. Alex is very hospitable and has a great set-up for learning, scratching, mixing, beat matching. He even has old school Vinale records to practice on if that's what your into. I preferred CD. I'm definitely returning. I would have like to stay longer but my wife was sick so I had to get back home. I came from NYC to have Alex teach me and although it was a hike getting hear it was so worth it. I'm going to start practicing once I return home from my vacation. Thank you so much for this experience Alex. I love music so much, and now I have some building blocks to help me execute my passion

Alex is a great DJ with a contagious energy for his craft.
There's no mistaking his skill, and his willingness to coach is as impressive as his ability to demonstrate.
The location is great, parking is easy, and the space is (insanely) clean.
I'd recommend the 2hr session with Alex to anyone looking for closer look at what goes on behind the decks - vinyl or digital.
