You’ll be welcomed into my kitchen and you'll learn the secrets of to make perfect Italian pasta! We'll craft together a salad, 2 kind of pasta and a dessert.
First, we'll make the lemon sorbet that needs to be refrigerated. Than we’ll prepare a delicious Panzanella salad. Then we’ll make orecchiette and cavatelli. This pasta is traditionally from the region of Puglia, in the south of Italy. It is based on a dough made with semolina flour and water (vegan). It has the shape of a small ear (orecchia, in Italian). We'll serve the orecchiette, as they do in Puglia, with broccoli and garlic (anchovies and red pepper are optional).
The key for a great pasta is the consistency of the dough, which I learnt from my grandma back in Italy when I was a teenager. We'll serve the pasta with your choice of Genovese pesto or broccoli.
At the end of the meal you'll have the chance to taste my favorite lemon sorbet recipe!
We will spend the first 2 hours cooking. Then, in the remaining hour, we'll sit down and enjoy the dishes.
The experience is BYOB, feel free to bring your favorite beverage.
