O que você fará

Arrive 5-15 minutes ahead to settle in before we begin a 90 minute deeply relaxing yin yoga practice. Some basic props will be set up for use and others available. Calming and soothing music playing during the session and a chime at 6 minute intervals to keep timing of each of the postures.
Starting with gentle breath work, reflection and easy guided meditation before beginning a series of passive postures (approximately 15) guided by the traditions of Tao philosophy as well as the Seasons and Elements according to Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM.
Always with a few options or modifications for each of the postures so that the practice is suitable for all levels of abilities, experience and comfort as we move through a series to open the hips and various joints. By relaxing and being supported with props for approximately 5 minutes each pose, releasing the many layers of fascia throughout the body, easing pain and tension as well as increased flexibility and mobility. The variety of postures will ensure continued benefits with regular practice that grow with increased flexibility.
The practice comes to a close with a restful pose, breath work and meditation. Most feel relaxed and at ease, with a feeling of lightness and renewed energy.
Time after practice for herbal teas, healthy snacks and conversation.

Interest in yoga came at the early age of 10 and weaved its way in and out of my life until the 1980s when regular practice began to take form and after a 30+ years career in hairdressing the desire for better balance and health took over. Originally certified in two Hot yoga 500 hour Teacher Trainings 2003-4 one of the studios where I was teaching began to offer Yin Yoga and after taking a few classes finding profound change, began studying with some amazing Yin Teacher trainers including Paul Grilley, Paulie Zink, Bernie Clark and Cathy Keenan. Also trained in Acuball by Dr Michael Cohen, Tom Myers Anatomy Trains and others further enhancing yin yoga studies.
Experience in teaching to large and small groups, private and semi-private, as well as workshops and retreats since 2004 with continued study as education is a lifelong journey.

This evening I had a really great workshop with Stephanie (there we're only the two of us) :) The house is easy to find and very clean, there is plenty of desinfection if you need some. Stephanie has a great know-how about yoga, nutrition, energy work, body healing... Our conversation was very interesting, funny and I got some good advice. At the begin of the workshop she asked me about any health issues and adapted the poses to my needs, so I felt really comfortable the whole time. The different poses, our conversation, the music, the light - this all helped me relaxing and brigthened my mood. At the end I got a cup of tea and some healthy homemade coconut cookies - they were suprisingly tasty and I got the recipe :) I would definitly recommend this experience and I will take part in it again. Super toller Workshop mit einer ausgezeichneten und freundlichen Gastgeberin! Ich habe vorher erst einmal Yoga gemacht aber Stephanie hat mir alles sehr gut erklärt und an meine Bedürfnisse angepasst. Der Trainingsraum ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet, sauber und bietet ausreichend Platz. Stephanie ist wirklich eine Expertin auf ihrem Gebiet und hat jahrzehntelange Erfahrung - das merkt man auch im Gespräch mit ihr. Ihre einfühlsame und unterhaltsame Art ließen die Zeit wie im Flug vergehen. Absolute Empfehlung :)
