Guests are offered a tea or coffee and chat about what they would like to learn from the Experience.
A short introduction on the various whole spices and ground spices, including pulses and lentils is explained.
Also describing dishes and curies from all over India and how they differ in the different states across the country.
A variety of vegetables are used, prepped, chopped, sliced etc creating a hands on experience.
The cooking takes place using spices, lentils, vegetables and grains.
When all the dishes are prepared they are assembled in a thali (stainless steel tray) and offered for a blessing.
Everyone then sits down for the meal served in the thalis.
Recipes are included and guests are able to purchase some spices
There is also an option to visit an Asian superstore to purchase ingredients, utensils etc.
The cooking experience can be held in the day finishing with lunch
OR an evening cooking session with dinner after
