O que você fará

Welcome to this experience, you are fortunate because we will be cooking in the meddle of the mountain with my family.

It’s an tradition had a wood stove and use a ceramic pots. This is really importan because the flavor is complete different and authentic.

We will meet you in the south of the city. From here we will start this adventure in the mountain.
We are going to start the class at my grandmothers cabin in woods. We will start preparing MEXICAN SALSA red and green ones, for this source we will use a mortar “molcajete” that was my grandmothers inheritance. This mortar was made with volcanic stone and is completely prehispanic that device it’s really important for my family.

Then you will learn how to make handmade tortillas, quesadillas and how to fill the dough to have a perfect tlacoyo and you can prepare 3 different dishes with more than 10 different healthy delicious flavors and vegans options.

We will finish with a meal in front of the river, we will taste and share the delicious salsas and dishes that we prepare.

This experience is authentic because we will be in contact with the nature, perfect for a family's. Outside of the bustle of the city, in this experience we will know special Mexican places that never appear on the list of what to do in México.

We can adjust your schedule. Don’t be afraid

You meet the host and then are transported to a mountain town where you learn a few cooking skills and eat and drink beer. It was cute.

This is an experience I will always remember! I was the only participant so it was just me, Luz and the family helping me learn to cook the delicious food. Luz was very passionate and knowledgeable about his town, the history and of course the food. My favorite part was washing down our fresh quesadillas and tortillas with strawberry flavored polce - yum!!

Luz and her brother Luis were amazing host!! We loved everything about this experience and watching them interact with their family. Their grandmother is a bit shy but suuper sweet! I would recommend wearing flat shoes (sneakers or sandle) since the road is extremely bumpy and not paved. Bring additional cash to buy alcohol or water if needed. There are horses and wild dogs who are just adorable! Get ready to take pictures, this please is beautiful!
