Some foraging and learning along the way... Woodland to Field to coastal moorland- Flattening out we'll be rewarded with a view across the Bristol Channel and south across wild moorlands. After stopping at Blue Ball inn, crossing A39, we'll spot Exmoor ponies and follow a flat walk to Foreland point, spotting moorland birds, Lundy Island, the two towns and possibly deer. Return to Lynmouth - we'll descend down my favourite view of Exmoor on the SW coast path back to Lynmouth harbour, looking across to south Wales. Here, we will forage and learn tree ID skills. The nature of the terrain is very undulating, steep at times and sometimes strenuous, so a good pair of walking boots/shoes with ankle support is advised. Pace - I will keep the pace around 3km/h.
