O que você fará

A perfect match: biking and yoga. Add a lot of nature, fresh Market picnic with cold Kambucha, good company and you have a luscious city adventure.

We will meet at friendly Sweet Pete's Bike shop to pick up our bikes and helmets and make our way to the park past a couple landmarks of urban graffiti and a beautiful local tree-lined neighbourhood. We will enjoy a leisurely trip through High Park accessing various special look-out points- enjoying the ecosystem, flowers, ponds, birds and animals of this majestic Oak tree Savanah. We will access the lake at the end of the park and ride away along the water trail and head back through cycling paths.

We will stop along the water trail in a more secluded destination and enjoy a 60 minute hatha yoga session- especially designed for cycler muscles. After practice, we will enjoy a light picnic of Farm Fresh Ontario Organic Vegetarian foods- sure to ignite our taste buds and fuel us for our journey back.

Get ready for majestic old Oak trees, surprising nooks along the way, scenic views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto Skyline. Dip your feet in sandy beach water & take in photo opportunities. Life is for the living in Toronto!
Other things to note
If you have your own bike- you can bring it. Rental will not be necessary.

I am a resident of Toronto for nearly 20 years. I Iove this city! I am a resident of the High Park area for 15 years. One of my favorite pass times is biking along the West Harbourfront trail and High Park. I want to share with you my passion for nature, health, yoga, cycling, culinary fresh goods and my beautiful city of parks!

Some other things I love include eating luscious vegetarian food, yoga, dance & fresh organic food markets. I am a student and teacher of yoga for over 10 years- I am trained in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yoga Therapy. I also have 5 years of experience training in various movement modalities.

We will explore the urban landscape briefly thru Bloor street & see graffiti murals & the Museum of Contemporary Art.

We will bike through the tree-lined High Park thru: forested hiking trails, High Park Zoo, Historic Colborne Lodge, Grenadier Pond & watershed.

We will access the waterfront trail & see: sandy beach, Butterfly Gardens, The Historic Sunny-side Pavilion, Ontario Yacht Club, Trilium First Nations Park, Roncey Pedestrian Bridge

We had a wonderful time. Agineszka showed us parts of High Park we didn't know existed and her yoga class was a a great experience. It was a lot of fun, a great day, and we'd definitely recommend it!

I booked this trip with two other friends and we had a blast! Great way to spend time in nature, be active and explore the city! We'd strongly recommend going on this trip!
