This cozy bedroom is perfect for one guest but can accommodate two people that don't mind being in close quarters. Our apartment was featured in the Jerusalem Post as one of the beautiful homes in Israel. Our terrace looks out over the city of Jerusalem and the German Colony. When the weather permits you will enjoy having your breakfast there.

Our furnishings are a mix of antiques and comfortable contemporary. The art work has been collected from around the world.

If you play the piano, we would love to have you sit down and serenade us.

Bus stop
around the corner. A light breakfast is provided. The apartment was featured in the beautiful home section of the Jerusalem Post, free wireless, cable TV.

We have cable TV in the living room, WFI throughout the apartment, tea and coffee are available all day.

We look forward to making your trip to Jerusalem memorable. We provide our guests with directions, current events, information about the city, restaurants and sites. We can recommend excellent licensed tour guides. Our home will be your home while you stay with us. You will probably meet some of our seven grandchildren who live near by. They are well behaved and speak perfect English.

Abu Tor is a neighborhood divided between Jews and Arabs in Jerusalem, south of the Old City. The area is bounded by Gai Ben Hinom on the northern side, Derech Hebron and the first train station to the west, the Sherover Promenade, Armon Hanaziv and the Peace Forest to the south.

From (phone number hidden) Abu Tor was cut by the line dividing Israeli Western Jerusalem from Jordanian Eastern Jerusalem. During the War of Independence, the upper section was conquered by Israel while the lower section remained in the hands of the Kingdom of Jordan.

The upper section of Abu Tor is situated more than 2500 feet above sea level. To the north we view the old city and it's walls, the Temple Mount area, and the Mount Zion landscape. To the east we can see the neighborhood of Silwan, the view of Judean desert, the biblical mountains of Edom and even of Moav.

Abu Tor's upscale homes blend old prestigious villas with modern apartments, making it a friendly, mature neighborhood with a number of small parks/playgrounds. The streets are lined with trees while hundreds of private gardens flourish.

In truth Abu Tor remains a secluded, yet very convenient paradise within easy walking distance to the center of town. It also extends out toward the quiet of the Peace Forest, making it a unique and sought after section of Jerusalem.

Besides being able to walk every where in a reasonable amount of time, 5 different buses take you from around the corner from our apartment to all parts of the city. Taxis are available by calling in advance or just walking 20 meters to Derech Hebron . If you rent a car, there is ample parking on the street with no parking restrictions.

There are shared mini-vans from the airport that are reasonable. We also have taxi drivers whom we know and trust who can pick you up and take you back to the airport. We are happy to help.

We can provide dinner for an additional fee when prearranged.

We can host a kosher dinner for up to 24 people and hold a party or event for 60 people.

Acesso do hóspede
We have cable TV in the living room, WFI throughout the apartment, tea and coffee are available all day. Breakfast will be delicious and served beautifully at an agreed upon time. The guests are welcome in the public space and hanging out with us is encouraged.
