This property had a contemporary renovation in 2017. It is a stone terraced building, set over 4 floors. This apartment is the lower half of the building, ground and basement floors. The 3 bedrooms are a good size, and are set in the basement (with small windows). The ground floor, has a large lounge at the front and a Large kitchen / Diner area at the rear with extending table, both rooms with double sofa beds. Due to its age, it has low slung oak beams throughout the property at 6ft

We have designed this apartment to be spacious, with room for luggage in the upper and lower hallways. It is WiFi and Network enabled, We have installed a Windows Office PC for work / play, XBOX 360 with games, Ventilation heat recovery air to all rooms with a Nest Remote Central Heating system, LED Colour changing bulbs in many rooms. The Lounge and Kitchen / diner areas are well proportioned with space and seating for 8 guests. Both basement bathrooms are fully tiled and have underfloor heating. the laundry / utility room is set up with a washer dryer / iron etc. We hope will find everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Whilst renting, you will have sole access to the ground floor apartment, which is pavement floor level and the floor below (basement with windows) there are 3 bedrooms in the basement, with further sleeping arrangements in the Lounge (Double Sofa Bed), Study (Single fold away Bed) or Dining Area, (Double Sofa Bed), if required. (Max 11)

Parking:
There are parking restrictions, with this property being located just within the town centre boundaries. There are a few 2 hour parking bays in the street and a single yellow line directly in front of the property, which can be parked on at any night of the week between 6pm to 8am for free. 200 meters walk away are unrestricted residential roads that can be parked on for Free, however for a longer stay, there are 5 main car parks in the town. The cheapest with most availability is the Cattle Market carpark ( PE9 2WB ) with 310 spaces and costs £4 per day, between 8am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. With Sundays and Bank Holidays are free of charge. This is a pleasant 6 minute walk away across the Stamford meadows and bridge. Unloading and Loading the car directly outside the property is acceptable for around 10-15 minutes by the local traffic wardens.

My wife Jane and I have lived in Stamford for 25 years, and have 2 sons, both at York University studying Electrical Engineering. This property was a grain store in the 16th Century, has been offices and even a tropical fish pet shop!
