This unique & amazing place is good for couples and solo adventurers. It's a glamping adventure centered in the Texas Hill Country close to Austin & San Antonio. You'll take a hike down the hill to the authentic American Indian Tee Pee. Altho short, the hike is on a rough and steep terrain, and does have some steps on the steepest areas. Be sure to wear some good hiking shoes and be aware that you should be fairly fit to traverse it several times during your stay.

O espaço
The TiPi is on the same property as the owners home & they will be on the property most of the time for you, if any needs arise. The Tee Pee cannot be seen from the house and you cannot see the house from the Tee Pee. It is very secluded.
This is a peaceful and very quiet area, so we ask that you do not have loud music, as the sound carries around the canyon. This is an authentic American Indian constructed Tee Pee. You will have a queen bed, linens, sofa, small kitchen and a small fridge all inside. We provide you with silverware, cooking utensils, a pot and a skillet, plates, cups, glasses, and a 4 cup coffee maker with coffee and filters. There is electricity. We provide you with 2 space heaters and 2 fans & we now have added a personal space air conditioner! Please no pets.

. No smoking or pets please. Outside, we provide you with a propane grill with a burner, a bathroom & hot shower, a table and a comfy bench with a small fire pit below.
Be sure to wear good hiking shoes to hike in. The area is very natural, therefore it's steep in most places with some steps along the way. You will may need to carry some of your gear in down the hill. We provide you with drinking & cooking water. There is also a lamp and several lanterns inside.
You'll just need to bring your food, drinks & any personal necessities. We provide you with dish soap and hand soap.
You will have access to our one man kayaks, paddle boat and a canoe that you can use, at the lake just below the tee pee. FYI, Lake Travis is a fluctuating lake and can go from very low to very high. When it's low, you will still have access to the deep water and the canoe, and kayaks at our park, which is just around the corner from entry to our driveway. When it's high, the water is a short walk from the tee pee and the canoe, paddle boat & kayaks will be at the dock there. We provide life jackets and they must be worn while in the water.
We have always been very vigilant in regards to cleaning. Be assured that we continue that practice and even go the extra mile in desensitizing everything from linens, dishes down to the door knobs and drawer pulls.
You will have a comfortable experience here & not worry about those things!

Acesso do hóspede
You will be able to park your car on top of the hill then it's a short hike down the hill. It's steep in some places and has stairs in some places to get to the TiPi, and well worth it!
We have a tram that will carry your gear down to the tee pee.

Outras observações
You will need to carry in what you'll need for your stay. It's like backpacking with the comfort of a bed and bathroom. We have a tram that can carry most of your gear down the hill. There is electricity, and there is running water, and propane for a heated shower and propane grill. We'll provide you with cooking and drinking water. Be aware that the hill to get to & from the tee pee is a rough terrain.

Damages: We appreciate your efforts to conserve resources and to preserve our furnishings and surroundings. Please understand that a charge can occur for any damages that require replacement or repair (including linens, fabrics or furnishings, outdoor furnishings, etc.).

Hello, We are a couple who love to travel and work on all kinds of projects, including woodworking, art and photography. Ed is a retired truck driver who transported privately owned vehicles and Donna is a retired portrait photographer. Our little French chateau and an amazing authentic American Indian Tee Pee is in the beautiful Texas hill country, just east of Marble Falls, Texas. It's nestled in a tree covered area on top of a hill overlooking Hickory Creek and Lake Travis. The sunrises are simply amazing here! We love to share the beauty of this place with others who appreciate the natural serenity of the hill country. We are continually working on the property by enhancing the hiking trail down the hill to the Tee Pee and the lake, adding a large dock, building a large vegetable garden and flower beds along with many other things.
