Our 1969 Vintage RoadCruiser Camper has been remodeled inside and spruced up outside, and while she's awaiting an updated floor and a few other minor upgrades, she is more than ready to be your sweet Glamper for visiting our stunning coast of Maine. Nestled near the woods, at the corner of the lawn, you'll fall asleep to sounds of the gurgling stream and enjoy watching the fireflies flicker outside. Slow down, enjoy the simple life: campfires, games, backyard, and so close to Lookout Point!

O espaço
Tiny-house-glamper fun! A most comfortable and inspired step up from a tent. Our 50 year old vintage camper is 14 feet long and 8 feet wide with a ceiling height of 6' 2". Sleeps 3-4. The dinette converts to a double bed which can sleep 2, (camper style-tall folks may find it short). A pull-out sofa converts to a double bed as well, probably best for 1 to sleep and definitely the best option for the tall one in your group. The loft bed is a bit longer and wider than an xl twin. Our 2 kids like to share the loft, but for most (adults) it comfortably sleeps 1. The WC is a camper closet-sized bathroom with toilet & shower. Anyone over 5'3" will need to sit to shower, and sitting to use the toilet is recommended for all. The little kitchen has all you need, and what it doesn't have can be borrowed from the big house. Our property is very private, wooded, with peeks thru the trees of the sunsets over Middle Bay. Less than a 7 minute walk to Lookout Point to enjoy those breathtaking sunsets, get fresh lobster from the wharf, launch your boat, or go for a swim, walk to the islands at low tide, scan the tidepools.
*We have increased our cleaning and disinfection protocols in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Acesso do hóspede
You have the camper to yourselves. Share the yard and garden with me and my family. Visit our flock of ducks and chickens. Very family friendly. We are happy to socialize with you and also happy to give you space.

Outras observações
Our place is great for adventurous eco-friendly folks who like to live close to nature. We are tucked into the woods. We have a garden and honeybees and a flock of chickens and ducks. Fresh eggs available! There's a gas grill and rustic picnic table that you are welcome to use, (share it with us) and we know a lot about the area's flora and fauna, restaurants and hiking and secret places to connect with nature. We have a hound dog who is very friendly, and you may hear her bay from time to time, but mostly it is quiet here. Our cat is more of the keep to himself type. There are mosquitoes and black flies and the dragonflies and bats that eat them so they aren't too bad, but sometimes after dark even we use bug repellant. Enjoy a fire in the fire ring, put your scraps in the compost bin. Hold a chicken. Pick some wild blackberries. Walk to the shore, watch the lobster boats come and go, fish off the wharf, sunbathe on the rugged rocky and sandy beach.

Woods and waters. Nature abounds! We are an 8-minute walk to Lookout Point on Middle Bay. Here you can stretch out on a beach blanket, sunbathe or swim, hunt for starfish, sea glass and hermit crabs. Walk to the islands at low tide. Pick up some lobster, crabs or clams for dinner from Allen's Seafood, watch the lobster boats come and go. Fish off the wharf for mackerel or striper. Lookout Point also has a town boat ramp, so you can launch your boat from here. We have paths through our 12 acres of woods and you can link up with Harpswell Heritage Land Trust's Hackett-Minot trails for a longer hike. Harpswell Historical Society is nearby to see Maine's first Meeting House and visit the historical graveyard for a glimpse into colonial times. There's a Maine Guide right in the neighborhood who can take you on a kayaking adventure in Middle Bay. Beyond our neighborhood are numerous places of beauty, many diverse hiking trails, a few great local eateries we are happy to recommend, and amazing artists. 20 minutes away is the town of Brunswick, home to movie theatres, Maine State Music Theatre, excellent restaurants, and many other cultural and entertainment options.

Naturalist. Meditative. I love to laugh and I’m called to make something out of nothing and leave the world a little better than I find it. I like to create experiences that help people connect(with self, with beauty, with nature, with each other) I’m a baker, a gardener, a yoga therapist. I delight in sharing love and knowledge of the natural world. Tell me about your flora and fauna and I’ll tell you about mine! A friend to all 4 leggeds, winged ones and a child whisperer. We live a simple rural life. Our home is a haven of homemade. A magical place to connect with yourself and the outdoors.
