Breezy, leafy tastefully designed set in Maharagama, Colombo District with walking distance to Boralesgamuwa Lake, Avondale Colombo offers accommodation with free WiFi, air-conditioned rooms, having a LED TV in each room with a Blu-ray Player, seating area and a balcony as well as a garden. Each room has a Super King bed with a luxury sprung mattress, a wardrobe, dressing table, a writing table with apace for a laptop and a chair that’s comfortable to work in.

The accommodation is conveniently located in a prime residential area in Maharagama, Colombo District. Its location ensures that guests can easily reach many local points of interests. Away from the traffic and the noise in a residential neighbourhood, it’s only a 10 minute ride to Maharagama Main Bus Stand where almost all buses travelling down Southern Expressway commence operations. You can get to Galle, Bentota, Weligama, Mirissa fairly quickly and enjoy the beaches. Mount Lavinia is 6km and Colombo is 10 km from Avondale Colombo and the nearest airport is Bandaranaike International Airport, 44 km from the property.

The space is furnished with a combination of antique furniture and custom made pieces designed specifically to suit the space. The accommodation has been designed with every modern comfort. Every room is air-conditioned.
The master bedroom, namely the “Orchid” is approximately 272 sqft, comprise of an en suite with a rain shower and an instant hot water shower. The room comes with a 40” LED television with a Blu-ray Player, can be viewed from the super king size bed or the comfy chairs in the room. The bathroom is provided with soap, shampoo, hairdryer as well as bath towels. Two adults and a child less than 12 years could stay in this room comfortably.

The rooms Jasmine and Tulip rooms too consist of same facilities as the master bedroom (Orchid) with a shared bathroom with a rain shower and an instant hot water shower. This bathroom too is provided with soap, shampoo, hairdryer as well as bath towels.

In the TV lounge there is a 50” LED Television with satellite TV as well as an extensive selection of DVDs, along with a Blu-ray player.

Free WiFi, complimentary mineral water, quality tea and coffee and complimentary toiletries are provided.

Quality linens and towels are provided and can be changed during longer stays upon request.

Ample hanging and drawer space for guests’ clothes is provided.

You will have a separate key to your room.

Meals:
A Continental or Asian breakfast is available on request each morning at the bed and breakfast for an additional fee of US$ 6.00 per person.

Other meals could be cooked by our care takers on request, if provisions are provided by the guests for an additional fee.

House Keeping:
Linen and Towels are provided and changed every three days or upon request for long term visitors.

Airport pickup:
Airport pickup can be arranged for US$ 30.00 including the highway toll. Please send passenger names and flight information.

Parking:
Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).

Check in and checkout:
Check in time is usually after 12.00 noon but it is flexible subject to the previous days booking. Check out time is 11.00 am. but this too is flexible depending on the day’s bookings.
We can keep your luggage for you to collect later, free of charge.
