This large, well-appointed, modern holiday cottage, which sleeps 8, is situated on an environmentally friendly, working, organic farm located a short drive off the Swinford to Aclare Road. Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. Utility room. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room with toilet, 1 twin. . Open fire in living room (initial fuel included). Oil central heating and electricity by meter reading. Bed linen and towels included. Video. DVD. CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Freezer. Garden and furniture. Ample parking. No smoking.. Unspoit walks from the doorstep.. This spacious holiday cottage, situated in a mainly undiscovered part of Ireland, is within the grounds of an environmentally friendly, organic farm located on the Mayo/Sligo border, not far from the Wild Atlantic Way. For those loving the outdoors, the house has miles of unspoilt walks from the doorstep and the Ox Mountains are close by for those preferring a more challenging walk. Nearby Lough Talt has fishing, boat hire and scenic walking. There are riding stables at Banada, 6 miles, and Ballina, 15 miles, provides a centre for activities such as golf, fishing, equestrian, walking and sites of historical interest. There is also a fabulous beach at Enniscrone, 25 miles away. The Coolany National Mountain Bike Centre, with miles of planned cycle trails, is 15 miles away. Aclare is a small village with strong musical tradition, and cycle hire can also be found here. Swinford is 8 miles away, and Foxford and Tubbercurry 12 miles. Shops and pubs 2 miles.. Approximate distance to Knock Airport is 25 km.
