Once home to the Order of the Odfellows in the late 1800's this recently renovated luxurious loft apartment over looks Center Harbor in the quaint town of Brooklin. The large room measures 40’ by 50’ with 11’ ceilings and is an extraordinary family retreat. The dining table seats 16, and a kitchen is full stocked with a vintage gas stove. Huge restored double hung windows afford views of the Reach and surroundings landscape. You are a five minute walk from the coast of Maine. Come visit!

O espaço
There are two bedrooms, one a with a King and the other a Queen. Both bedrooms share a wood paneled bath with generous shower. There are two Queen Murphy Beds in the large living area that are easily accessible and very comfortable.

The kitchen extends the length of one wall with custom wood cabinets with Deer Isle granite counters and a large farm sink. There is an extensive collection of dinnerware, glassware, and flatware and plenty of cookware and utensils to prepare a feast. In the back yard there is a picnic table and gas grill for outdoor dining.

The living area has everything you need to have an unforgettable family vacation. The Ping pong table, air hockey, basketball, family games and puzzles will keep your kids busy enough, they may not even notice the 82” TV.

Plenty of off street parking in the buildings parking lot

This property can be combined with the third floor space to literally double the accommodations.

Acesso do hóspede
The main stair hall is shared with both the second and third floor apartments, but once on your floor-the apartment is all your own. There is a private door with lock to each unit.

Outras observações
Because this building is over 100 years old and has an open floor plan, it is not sound proof. Guests may hear noise from the small boat yard below or guests renting above between normal daylight hours. We work hard as a building owners to keep sound to a minimum. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM- 9:00 AM. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask!

Brooklin is known as the "Wooden Boat Capital of the World", and is the home of many boat yards including the Wood Boat School and Magazine. The neighborhood is an 'off the beaten path' destination for many writers and artists who want to enjoy the beauty of Maine in a more quiet and secluded way. Minutes from the ocean, you don’t even have share the sand dollars with the crowds. You will be so relaxed, you may never want to leave.
