Taniaburg consists of 2 separate rooms offering comfortable and well-designed accommodation, ideal for those guests looking for facilities in a homely environment. These 2 rooms are located in the former barn of the historic and fully renovated farmhouse. The rooms are very spacious and light. They consist of a sitting area with a television, a sleeping area and a private bathroom with toilet and shower. a coffee corner where you can make your own coffee or tea ingredients are available.

As mentioned, Taniaburg offers you a great alternative to a normal hotel-style accommodation - and it is only 20 minutes away from the old city center of Leeuwarden by foot - which is very close to the town's central shopping street. Leeuwarden has a reasonably historical city center with canals and mounds (man-made hills) dating from the middle ages. Old store fronts and beautifully restored monuments adorn the city. Examples of these include the Oldehove a large slanted tower and the Waag an old weighing station in the middle of town. A walking tour through the city center is more than a trip around old buildings. This city has remarkable canals and small streets, cozy shops and interesting museums. When you look at a map from 1603 you can recognize almost every street, square, canal and building. In the 20th century, several canals were filled in and converted into streets. Fortunately the character of the streets surrounding these old canals has been preserved. A day strolling through the streets of the capital of the Province of Friesland has many high points. Get to know the past and the present.

Welcome to a typical Frisian farmhouse: Taniaburg! The 5 person apartment is in the former milk basement build and has a nice view at the courtyard of the the historic and fully renovated farmhouse. The terrace that belongs to the apartment is located near the old washing place. The apartment has a private bathroom with a sink, a shower and a toilet. A bedroom with a double bed and on the first floor is a bedroom with three single beds A lounge with an open kitchen and a dining table. The rates for renting the 5 person apartment can be found under the button "rates". The rates include all linen and towels, etc. The use of the washing machine is included. The apartments are also equipped with a fast ADSL internet connection and it is only 20 minutes away from the old city center of Leewarden by foot - which is very close to the town's central shopping street.
