This is a cozy converted workshop with all the amenities of a traditional home! You'll have a comfy bed that sleeps 2, cable, Netflix, WiFi, air conditioning, W/D, closet space, cooking stuff, & bathroom. If you love tiny homes, you'll love this.

Because of it being a converted workshop, it still has that feeling in some regard. It's a little rustic, but still charming. It's not a hotel, nor does it try to be. It's definitely a great place to relax and get a good night's sleep. Pets welcome.

This is a cozy converted workshop with all the amenities of a traditional home! You'll have a comfortable bed that sleeps 2, TV with Amazon Fire TV Stick, AT&T TV Now, Netflix, WiFi, air conditioning, air mattress, tons of closet space, cooking stuff like a George Foreman grill, toaster oven, and microwave (no kitchen sink, the only sink is in the bathroom,) bathroom with shower and a W/D.

This place is perfect for 1 person or a couple. There’s even enough space for a child (air mattress and/or cot available.)

Very pet-friendly. I love any and all animals, so they are very much welcome here. Because of this, it can get a little dusty. I do my best to clean, but if you're highly allergic to dogs, cats, or pollen, I'd recommend booking somewhere else.

Check-in time on average is 3PM.

You'll have full access to the backyard for your pups, which is currently grassy with some sand. You can use anything in the backyard except the kayaks but...grills, smoker, deck, tent, hammock, etc. are all available. The entrance is through a gate in the carport, which you can also use. Please keep it latched so my dogs don’t get out! Check-in is usually around ~3PM.

Outras observações
This is a small, but comfortable space! It’s not a hotel, and nor does it try to be. After all, it was a workshop. The yard is sandy, so it can get tracked in, as well as ants if the weather pushes them to shelter, or if you leave food out. I do my best to clean and preventative maintenance, so hopefully you don’t see any.

The only sink is in the bathroom, so heads up for washing dishes. The W/D is small, so light loads please. The panel on it was broken by a previous guest, but I’m working to get it fixed. The water in St. Pete is a bit hard as well.

Dogs and cats and pigs and whatever are welcome! Bring an alpaca or a lemur and I’ll let you stay for free. My love for animals shows in the space. Sometimes our furry friends like to sharpen up their claws on the doors or furniture. I do everything I can to clean up and fix the marks, but you may notice them sometimes. You can smoke as long as it's outside. I can even provide a cigar if you ask nicely!

Other things available for you to use are beach chairs, several types of coolers, and hammocks. Just ask. You may notice a lot of querky or weird items in the space, that's because of a game called Geocaching. Check it out!

People are welcome to leave mementos and reminders of their stay, pin the board, shells, (beer :P) anything they may find (Thank you to the guests who left a fuzzy gnome and unicorn!) There’s a plethora of antique shops and thrift shops in St. Pete if you’re into that.

If you instant book the same or next day as the previous guests are leaving, the cottage (sheets, bathroom, etc.) may still need to be cleaned or reorganized which may lead to a later check-in time. It's rare that this happens, but, I apologize in advance if this is the case.

Check-in time on paper is 7PM due to my work schedule. The unofficial check-in time has been 3PM. I have someone who helps clean so we can often have it ready by 3pm at the latest. If you need it sooner than that, ask me, so I can hopefully get you in earlier, but no guarantees.

Disston Heights, Saint Petersburg, Flórida

My neighborhood is incredibly friendly in all aspects, especially with dogs and kids. There's so much around to do. Being in central St. Pete, you can get anywhere and go anywhere very quickly via car. I highly recommend Mazzarro's down the street for lunch or groceries.

There's also a mall, plenty of retail/chain restaurants, and a really nice park down the street.

Hey! I'm a tech guy working downtown, living in St. Petersburg, Florida and loving every minute of it. I'm always down to try new food and go on new adventures. I love my wife, my dogs Danza & Marco, cat Kira, and I like craft beer, cigars, Jeeping, video games, kayaking, and overall just having fun in any situation. I know where all the good food and drinking spots are. Need help with ideas for a night out? I’m your guy. As a host, you can count on me to provide excellent restaurant recommendations, great places to relax and have fun, and someone to talk baseball or hockey with. Airbnb asks if I have a life motto..well..I like to say that I am an aspiring human being.

Durante sua estadia
I, my wife, and mother are usually readily available.

I tend to not meet in person, but I can offer guidance on places to go, things to see, and food to eat. You'll also see and probably meet my two dogs, Marco (the smaller guy) & Danza, unless you specifically ask not to. They're wonderful and lovable, but Marco is a little too lovable and may pee with excitement, so watch out! You’ll find evidence of dogs around the property, so if you’re allergic and still love dogs, I have Benadryl.

If you’d like to meet up and chat, that’s no problem at all, just let me know. If I do run into you, I’ll make sure everything is okay. If something isn’t, you wont hurt my feelings telling me.
