If you’re going to visit New Orleans, you should feel like you are in New Orleans. Built in the 1820s, this Creole cottage, with front and rear balconies, high ceilings, ceiling fans, hard pine floors and slate mantles, feels like the Crescent City.
But the house is also loaded with modern creature comforts like a whirlpool tub, a gourmet Miele stove and central air and heat. This three-bedroom house can sleep up to four people. In addition to the master bathroom, there is a separate full bath with a shower and a half bath downstairs. In front of the house is a small citrus grove which perfumes the air when the trees are in season. At other times of the year, the night blooming jasmine wafts through the air as the sun goes down. There is free wifi and two HD televisions and a stereo with speakers that play throughout the house.
