“Very diverse museum. Seems small from the outside but packs a lot into its space. Very interesting ancient Egypt room, dinosaur and Antarctic displays. The hands-on kids' discovery area is fantastic for young kids, and interesting for adults too. ”

Paisagens incríveis

Paisagem incrível
“Located 15 minutes down the freeway. Simply enjoy the view over Adelaide. Visit the tourist shop or cafe located at The Summit. For those that enjoy hiking - a 3 to 4 hour return hike is available from Mount Lofty Summit down to Waterfall Gully. You will require moderate fitness and the trail can be quite steep in places. Alternatively you can commence the trail at Waterfall Gully up to Mount Lofty Summit if you prefer to get the climb over with first. Ticketed parking is available at Mount Lofty Summit - via a ticket machine - (cash or eftpos accepted)”

Trilha
“Great for hiking, can continue on up to the top of Mt Lofty, which gives great City views & along the whole coastline. There is a cafe & souvenir shop at Mt Lofty, so you can have a stop & treat yourself to a snack/ meal before heading back down. A 2 hour round trip, plus time spent at Mt Lofty. Is a bit of a climb but could just do the walk to the waterfall if time or energy is lacking. Note that the waterfall flow depends on rainfall & time of year.”

Pier
“Great for a walk as you may spot some dolphins or seals in the water! The Largs Bay Jetty was built by the Largs Bay Land and Investment Company in 1882 as part of its speculative outer harbour development which included the Largs Pier Hotel (registered place 10638) , a railway from Glanville to the jetty end and a terrace of two-storey shops and residences in Jetty Rd (registered place 14370). The jetty is now about one-third of its original length. It is significant for its association with the genesis of Largs Bay and the only one of several outer harbour schemes which came to fruition prior to the opening of the present Outer Harbor in 1908. (HSA 9/2002)”
