“Plaza Amelia Wilkes is a quaint plaza with beautiful Gardens located in the heart of Cabo San Lucas at KM 0 to be exact. It has lush trees, flowers, places to sit and enjoy the afternoon with family, couple, etc. In this same park is located the Museum of Natural History of Cabo San Lucas, great attraction of the city that works to conserve and to spread the roots of the Sudcalifornianos. The Amelia Wilkes Plaza is available to everyone who wants to visit and enjoy every day of the year, it is a public space made especially for the enjoyment of all the locals and tourists. If you are lucky you will enjoy the traditional Kermess made by some schools.”

“Check out the hike to Mt. Solmar. Take a short walk to Terrasoll Beach Resort from Marina Cabo Plaza. Once there you will find the beginning of the trail to the summit! It's a beautiful view of all of Cabo. When returning from your hike I reccomend eating at the Palaypa Restaurant at the Terrasol resort. It's a nice way to spend the afternoon.”

Beach
“This beach is located in Cabo San Lucas. One on the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. This is by the far the most popular and most busy. You will find any water activity you could ever think of as well as many restaurants. The Office has amazing food.”

Beach
“Medano Beach is without a doubt the most popular and swimmable beach in Los Cabos. Located along the coastline of downtown San Lucas and providing incredible views of the world-famous Lands End, this beach is a great place to spend a day. You can enjoy a wide variety of both motorized or non-motorized water-based rentals. From kayaks and standup paddle boards to wave runners and motorized hang-gliding excursions, Medano has you covered. Being located in the heart of San Lucas and bordering several resorts, there are plenty of delightful restaurants that you can enjoy a beachside meal at (check out our other Guidebooks for restaurants.) Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood, traditional Mexican cuisine, or a good old-fashioned cheeseburger and fries, you’ll be able to find it here. There is no shortage of party activity located along this several-mile stretch of beach. There are a wide variety of bars and restaurants that offer well-priced buckets of beer, delicious margaritas, and fresh seafood. Mango Deck, known for its Spring Break extravaganzas, is the most famous and well-known among these establishments. Medano Beach also has the largest selection of vendors among any beach in the area, allowing you to get hats, T-shirts, jewelry, snow cones, fresh fruit, and much more. Just a heads up, the vendors here are the most persistent in Cabo and will not hesitate to ask you time and time again if you would like to buy their merchandise. There are several different points of access to Medano Beach. Since it is located near the marina and downtown, most people around there will speak good English so we recommend just asking someone the quickest way to get there. Maybe even use this opportunity to test out some of your Spanish!”

Beach
“This is one of the main public beaches in Cabo San Lucas, and is right beside the Marina, although you have to walk around the marina to get there. It is a very, very beautiful beach which is similar to lovers Beach, but you don't need to take a boat to get there, and it is usually even less busy than lovers beach, unless you're there on the weekend or in the evening, which is when it fills up with locals. You can also (if you are a good swimmer) swim along the side of the peninsula from this beach to get to pelican rock (a famous snorkeling spot that all the tours go to) or even to lovers Beach (if you're going that far, you have to be very careful to watch out for boats).”
