Ski Area
“It's the second most visited tourist destination in France for a reason. It's amazing up there in the high mountains. Year round access to climbing, ski the legendary vallee blanche in winter or just get close to Mont Blanc. The lift pass is expensive but worth it. Make sure you go on the train to the Mer de Glace on the same day to make the most of the pass.”

“Mont Blanc is a popular year-round vacation destination located at the gateway to the Mont-Tremblant region, just over an hour north of Montréal. In winter, it’s one of Québec’s leading ski resorts with the 2nd highest ski mountain in the Laurentians: 43 trails and a snow park, on 3 mountainsides provide a great choice of terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. ”

“This is the old favourite any time of the year – opposite the train station in Chamonix, with happy hour and live bands covering all the classics that get the crowd dancing on the tables during aprés ski. In the daytime this bar is transformed into a cosy restaurant with checked table clothes and outside seating on the sun terrace. A tasty menu is served and enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.”

“The best italian food in Chamonix, at least in our book. Delicious pizzas, pastas, vitello tonato and traditional desserts. We've always been able to get a table without a reservation but if you're a party of 4 or more, it's better to reserve in advance, especially if you'd like to have dinner by the river. Take-away is also available.”
