“CIAO BACI Specialties include crispy calamari and house sangria, which are best enjoyed out on the beautiful and spacious patio. Ciao Baci is very proud of its wine collection, boasting the largest half bottle selection in town. Their impeccable service makes every visit feel like a homecoming. The bar is great, especially if your eating alone. Neal, the bar tender is a great guy and good friend. ”

“The nation watched the Little Rock Nine story unfold as nine black students attempted to enter the previously all-white school. With the help of students and activists, Little Rock eliminated separate systems of education for blacks and whites. Visit the historic center for incredible historic footage and information. ”

“This place is absolute amazing. If you love a good breakfast they are a great option, but they also have solid lunch options. I suggest you try their breakfast tacos. You won’t regret it!! It’s located in the Argenta District in North Little Rock right over the Arkansas River. It’s only about a 8min drive from The Tiny Cottage. ”

“This brewery has a log cabin feel to it. I guess it's for the "bear" in Diamond Bear Brewing. The seating area is large and on nice days, they open the entire wall to the outdoor seating area for a nice breeze while beer tasting. They have a take on a Bloody Mary they make with one of their hefeweizen brews that is super tasty. ”

“If you came to Arkansas to eat barbecue, then this is one of the two spots you'll have to try. (the other being Sim's BBQ). Whole Hog is award-winning and filled with trophies all over the walls from various competitions. Their barbecue is smoky and served dry, giving you 6 sauces to choose from at your table. The potato salad is based on ranch and bacon. Great for lunch or early dinner. Their competitor, Sim's, is a more authentic staple, with pre-sauced barbecue that comes with wonder bread and slaw.”

Nature
“Come take in the views of the Arkansas River and nearby Pinnacle Mountain on the world's longest purpose-built pedestrian bridge. It might be windy, but the view is spectacular, and it is a fun activity whether you are on foot or on bike. You'll see families, athletes, and lots of cute dogs being walked. On the north shore is "Cook's Landing" a great place to get lost in the woods, with dirt trails that offer shade, and a lengthy paved trail that is part of the "River Trail" that affords a view of the river. ”
