Our beautifully crafted Treehouse at Salcombe Farm, Salcombe is perched within the branches of a stunning silver birch tree, growing just behind the gorgeous Georgian Farmhouse.
Spectacular views through the rolling hills of Horsecombe Valley and on to Batson Creek, Salcombe Estuary and beyond can all be viewed from the private seating area in a secluded corner of a 3.5 acre field. The cedar shingle clad Treehouse is surrounded by an elevated decking, where you can sit back and relax with a glass of wine, while watching Horsecombe Farm's Rare Breed Dartmoor Ponies. There is an abundance of nature too with buzzards and barn owls to be spotted from the deck. Alternatively stargaze at night and listen to the crickets and look out for the glow worms from your private terrace, while sat by a roaring, crackling fire in the cast iron fire bowl, perfect for BBQ's or treat yourself to toasted marshmallows. Inside you’ll find a beautiful big chunky solid oak double bed; piled high with gorgeous linens, Susie Watson cushions and Susie Watson sumptuous quilt. The rustic half round wood rail ceiling and beautiful oak walls and floors provide the perfect setting to curl up in the tweedy chairs, next to the electric flame effect wood burning stove which, heats up within a matter of moments. The hand crafted oak table provides the perfect setting for a game of Scrabble, cards; or simply just peep through any of the windows at the surroundings. An en suite shower-room lined with ceramic drift wood tiles, underfloor heating and heated towel rail ensures that you'll be snug, piping hot water, with organic paraben free hair and body wash products. There’s a proper flushing loo and a river rock granite wash-basin that sits on a hand crafted table. Optional extra - wake up in the morning and winch up the wicker basket, filled with fresh crossiant and pain au chocolat from the local bakery or The English Breakfast Package, containing locally sourced produce (available on request at a small charge). The Treehouse has a bespoke built duck egg blue kitchen, with gorgeous oak worktops and a matching oak kitchen table. Including a fridge-freezer, fan oven with grill, portable induction hob, large white butler sink, Nespresso Coffee machine, seven-bottle wine cooler, Morphy Richards toaster, kettle and utensils. All of the cooking equipment and crockery is state of the art. If you decide you do want to leave your little paradise, there’s plenty on offer. A 15 minute walk along idyllic country lanes past fragrant hedgerows and thatched cottages brings you to Salcombe town that offers an abundance of fantastic shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs all in the backdrop of some of Devon’s most spectacular coastline and the lovely beaches of the Salcombe estuary. With panoramic views, and the rustle of the wind in the trees - you’re in for a unique, and amazing, stay.

The Dairy at Middle Nuckwell is a one double bedroom property, with a luxury double sofabed in the lounge, so would sleep 4 people comfortably, and is detached from the main farmhouse. The Dairy is a traditional stone built property (the original dairy to the farmhouse) and has been recently renovated to the highest standard and includes a fully fitted kitchen, luxury bathroom with walk in shower, underfloor heating, wood burner and private courtyard area, which includes dining set and BBQ. There are horses, chicken and ducks on the property, and you are welcome to collect your own eggs for breakfast. The property has amazing views over a beautiful, peaceful valley. The Hayloft at Middle Nuckwell is also available to rent if you require space for more people.
Nestled in the heart of the South Hams (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the property is nestled in a beautiful valley. There is a tidal road and estuary within half a mile and there are public footpaths and bridleways nearby, so the location is perfect for walkers and mountain-bikers. Bantham Beach (voted one of the best beaches in Europe by Lonely Planet) is about 3 miles away, so the property is perfect for surfers and water sports enthusiasts. The property is set in the heart of the South Hams so there are numerous sandy beaches and coves to explore. The market town of Kingsbridge is about a mile away, where you will find numerous amenities including supermarkets. The yachting town of Salcombe is also very close by, providing water sports, shopping and many restaurants. Dartmoor National Park is also close and can be seen from the property in the distance.

    Close to Bantham Beach, Bigbury-on-Sea, Salcombe and Kingsbridge, this fully-equipped high quality Shepherd Hut is set in a tranquil location with stunning views across to Dartmoor. Now with private hot tub adjacent to The Hut, offering a perfect place to enjoy sunsets or starry skies. The Hut is ideally situated in South Devon and offers a peaceful rural retreat with close proximity to many Devon beaches and towns.
    Uniquely situated to visit all the South Hams beaches, towns and villages, private and secluded but not remote. A 10 minute walk from The Hut up the lane will take you to the main road where you can catch a direct bus to Dartmouth along the stunning coast line passing through Slapton, Strete, Stoke Fleming and Blackpool Sands. At the top of this lane also is the Church House inn – a 13th century former monks’ house with a great selection of food and wines. Other dining options nearby include The Oyster Shack, The Sloop at Bantham, Britannia Shack at Beesands, The Crabshell in Kingsbridge as well as other excellent eating places in Salcombe and Dartmouth. The Hut has a fully made-up double bed with a pocket spring mattress and duck down quilt and pillows for a comfy and cosy night. The bed just folds up against the wall to reveal a generous living space with table and benches. The toilet/shower room is plumbed in with a “proper” toilet and shower. The well-equipped kitchen unit incorporates a 2 ring hob, combination oven, microwave and grill, a small fridge and sink, [as well as crockery, cutlery, glasses, toaster, kettle etc.]. The wood-burner offers additional heat and cosiness if required in cooler months. Set in the corner of a large 5 acre plot The Hut is totally private and away from the owners’ accommodation. Ample parking [a short walk along a path] is provided as is a useful storage shed next to The Hut to maximise your space inside. The Hut now has it's own hot tub, which is perfectly situated to enjoy a tipple whilst enjoying spectacular views across open countryside to Dartmoor. As well as the hot tub, outside The Hut is plenty of space to unwind with lounger chairs, picnic table and chimenea. There is ample room to pitch a tent for additional guests by [small extra cost by arrangement] but please note there are no other toilet or shower facilities available.
    This is a beautiful place to live, a gem we found a few years ago and have gradually been transforming into our forever home. We love the combination of privacy with rural living and proximity to the wonderful South Hams places, events and culture. Waking up to gorgeous views, listening to the birds and countryside noises is bliss.

    Perfect luxury retreat for couples, for either a long or short break. All bedding, towels, tea towels provided along with tea and coffee facilities.
    Just a short stroll from the main town centre of Salcombe. 10 minute walk down the hill but 10/15 minute walk back up. Its not a major problem but note the hill is steep. Close enough to enjoy the activity of the town but far enough away to escape and find peace should you need. Less than a minute away from the local spar store and post office.

    The bright and sunny Studio is situated in a quiet and picturesque valley a mile from the award winning Bantham beach. With a yoga platform in the garden and surrounded countryside, its the perfect retreat for couples, yogi or a small family looking for a relaxed getaway near the sea. Max 4 people!
    The Studio is a unique little haven tucked in a Devonshire valley, a mile from the sea. Owned by an artist, it has a quirky shabby chique interior with an open plan living space, breakfast bar and balcony overlooking the valley. Its beautiful setting and location make it a perfect place to retreat to. The garden has a yoga platform for those who want to salute the Devon sun. Its located in a valley with a handful of other holiday cottages nearby and in sight, though its elevated place on the hill means its quiet and feels private. There are gorgeous country walks leaving from the property and a 20 minute walk to the famous, award winning Bantham Beach. Guests book repeatedly each year for its charm and location. The bedroom has its own balcony doors opening onto the valley and a skylight overhead for stargazing from bed. The living room has a pull out sofa bed for 2 people expanding the capacity to 4 people staying, though please note that the space is best suited for couples. The Studio is light and airy during the summer with lots of wild birds. Please note that cooking facilities are not extensive but certainly sufficient. Have a look in the pictures so you can see what is available and know what to expect. There is a lovely stray black and white cat, Miss Frieda Meoiw, who comes and goes over the year, who makes her home the studio for some of the time. She may or may not be there when you visit. She is to stay outdoors, although she loves a cuddle and feed if you like cats! During the winter, it is snug, cosy and warm! There are village shops and excellent pubs in Thurlestone (1.5m), Bantham (0.9m) and Churchstow (2m) and Kingsbridge (4m) offers a supermarket, banks, numerous shops, cafes, galleries, yoga studio and a regular farmers markets. Surf rentals can be found in Churchstow or on Bantham beach. Free parking for 2 cars. Please note a car is essential to get to this area!
    Just a short way from the award winning Bantham Beach, this is an area with incredible country walks in every direction leaving the house. The solitude and quiet of the valley is at the heart of its charm and with little light pollution, its a great place for star gazing at night. Truly a beautiful retreat!

    Cosy One bedroom semi detached annex with private parking and garden. Our cottage is perfect for a quiet winter break storm chasing or a lovely summer break by the sea. Situated near the South West coast path and walking distance (20mins walk 1 mile) to pubs and beaches at Hope Cove and South Milton Sands. Salcombe and Kingsbridge less than 10 mins drive away! We are very happy for you to bring dogs but we request that they are not left at home unattended and that you clean up after them.
    Well equipped and self contained holiday apartment with spacious kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. Bedroom is light and airy with a large super king sized bed which can be made up as two single beds on request. Outdoor patio and enclosed garden with private parking.
    The property is in a village setting in a rural area surrounded by wonderful walks.

The traditional Orchard to the South, planted by us fifteen years ago, boasts vintage cider apples, delicious cookers and eaters plus mulberry, plums, perry pears, medlar and quince. We produce our own cider and apple juice too..
    This contemporary and highly original home at Ham Farm in rural South Devon offers all the modern conveniences, including a dishwasher and washer. Every item has been carefully chosen or made to compliment the architecture and to ensure a comfortable stay. Much of it designed and made by the owners or their friends. Whether you decide to sit at home and enjoy the serenity of the countryside, the views over the orchard, private garden and patio and the cosy warmth of the wood burning stove, or travel farther afield to enjoy the exquisite landscape of the South Hams from a very central location, The Piggery offers everything you need to make your stay easy, relaxing and fun. Well situated a short walk away from Loddiswell, and right in the centre of the South Hams, The Piggery offers easy access to the stunning coastline with its famous South West Coast Path, beautiful and secluded beaches, magnificent Dartmoor, and all the amenities the South Hams has to offer: Kingsbridge (10 mins.), Dartmouth (25 mins.), Salcombe (25 mins.) and Totnes (25 mins.) are all worth visiting, each offering something special. There are many charming villages close by, and the internationally recognised Dartington Estate is within 30 minutes. Loddiswell has in the past been a little overlooked but offers such a lot on many levels, we love it here! For those who like to walk, there are essentials available in the village via a short footpath and there are numerous trails, green lanes and Avon River walks that begin right at your doorstep and may be interrupted with a delicious cream tea or lunch at Avon Mill Garden Centre. Other benefits include plenty of parking for up to 3 cars, drive up access, expert local knowledge….. The bedrooms are small but perfectly formed.. the larger has a very comfortable King size bed complete with boutique Egyptian bed linen. The smaller, with its en-suite shower and loo is a narrow (4') but extra long double and can sleep two cuddly people or children who don't mind sharing. We also have a single mattress with bedding provided for a small extra charge - please ask when booking. Please let us know if you have kids as there are a couple of provisos regarding care of its furnishings ..
    The South Hams is a gem in the UK.. beautiful with a mass of things to do both inside and out... glorious and wild coastline, with its swimming, sailing, surfing, hiking, golf or simply taking in the stunning landscape..and Dartmoor is just 20 minutes away. Inland there's much to do and see - we will provide leaflets, brochures etc. - just ask or visit Tourist Information in Kingsbridge. Totnes, Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge are all special in their own way and once you've mastered the winding and secret Devon lanes there's beauty around every corner. Once you've been captivated you'll wish to return.. It's a good idea to search through our Guidebook here in case you wish to eat out in one of the busier places.. as we have many visitors throughout the year they will fill up all year round so it's worth booking in ad.

    Marwell Lodge is a beautiful lodge set in large grounds down a quiet country lane. It is beautifully presented with many home comforts for your stay - summer or winter. The lodge is a true getaway and feels miles away from anywhere , however you can walk to a local pub and shop and a short drive to many wonderful beaches. We pride ourselves in customer care and you will arrive to a welcome pack including fresh milk , coffee , tea and a few little treats to welcome you after your journey.
    The lodge is south facing so nice and sunny ! Very peaceful and private. You can relax on the terrace and have the joy of your own grounds. It is well situated for the South West Coastal Path, Dartmoor and country walks , amazing beaches - no need to get in the car if walking is your thing .
    There are many good pubs nearby with great reputations for good food and friendly service . Close to a village shop and nearby Modbury for everyday needs.

    We offer accommodation in a large, comfortable double room above our pub in the estuary town of Kingsbridge in South Devon. The room has an en-suite with shower and toilet; TV; tea and coffee making facilities; hairdryer; wardrobe and drawers. The pub downstairs is a traditional pub, with a pool table, piano and charming, courtyard garden. We are based in the heart of the town, close to a variety of fine restaurants and shops, the bus station and the scenic estuary.
    There is a private side entrance to the building which is available to guests if they do not want to use the pub entrance. We do not provide any meals, but there are a number of places nearby which offer food throughout the day. It is important to be aware that the room is above the pub and so there is a level of noise which comes from downstairs. There is live music performed by local musicians on a Sunday from 5-7pm. We are situated on a street with award winning restaurants, another pub and take-away outlets. It can therefore be a busy part of town, especially on a Saturday night, so there is some noise outside the pub. Some may enjoy being so central, while others may not, so please keep this in mind.
    Kingsbridge is a charming estuary town in the South Hams, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town has a number of interesting independent shops; art galleries; cafes; restaurants; pubs; a cinema and leisure centre with a swimming pool and gym. There is a scenic embankment for those who enjoy a stroll and for the adventurous, the town is an ideal base from which to explore the nearby coastal areas, moor and neighbouring towns.

    Enjoy a winter stay in the cosy, stylish, self contained annex. Part of a listed cottage set in the AONB village of Avonwick; on the edge of the South Hams, Totnes, Dartmoor and the South coast beaches. Explore the Totnes and Dartington Christmas markets and winter walks. The Annex has it's own entrance, little galley, desk area, double bedroom and en-suite shower room. Living in the main house are a sociable, young family of three and a puppy! We can organise a cot for 0-2 year olds
    The annex is hand built and tastefully decorated, including a number of original artworks which make for a unique space.
    Avonwick is a small village in South Hams with two pubs- the Avon Inn (100m away) and The Turtley Corn Mill (a mile away). The larger village of South Brent is only one mile away and a nice cycle / walk for shops, pharmacy, (more pubs!) Being only a mile to the A38, the location provides excellent access to the South Hams, Dartmoor, Exeter and on to Cornwall. Totnes is a wonderful and unique market town and is only 5 miles away. There are numerous rivers, walks, tors and beaches close by and we would be very happy to show you some tips on a map

  • Bonito anexo pequeno com tudo o que você precisa por alguns dias. Nós não usamos a cozinha ou o jardim, mas o quarto e o banheiro eram ótimos. As informações de boas-vindas foram úteis, e eu amei a decoração. A localização é um pouco estranha, mas você recebe uma estadia tranquila e tranquila em troca e não fica muito longe das principais estradas (siga as instruções de Anthony em vez dos mapas do Google!). A única outra questão eram as persianas, que deixavam a luz entrar de manhã cedo - poderia ter sido minha culpa!     The newly converted spacious loft in the Barn (Upper Deck) of the gardens of Lower Kerse set in 30acres of beautiful, tranquil gardens, woods and fields and only 5 minutes from local beaches such as South Milton Sands, the surf beach - Bantham, village pubs, beach restaurants, coastal walks, tennis and golf clubs. Upperdeck is newly furnished with constant free WiFi.
    The Upper deck is a newly converted and furnished upper floor of a new oak open plan barn (40ft x 14ft). It has a separate toilet and a separate shower room with hand basins in both. We provide professionally laundered linen, fresh towels and beach towels. The superking bed can be split into twins. Please state at time of booking how you would like beds made up. There is the option to assemble a single bed for a third person to share the room. There is a nightly charge for this.
    The Upper Deck is in a unique setting. It is in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by beautiful gardens. We are only 5 minutes from the centre of Thurlestone Village in a secluded, peaceful valley with views of the sea from the garden. Thurlestone is a pretty thatched village with an excellent pub, golf/tennis club. Over 4 beaches in Thurlestone alone and Bantham beach, famous for its surf and surf school is only 10 minutes from your front door. Also, popular for kite surfing and wind surfing. Bantham beach also offers superb Stand Up Paddle boarding down the beautiful River Avon. Hire of Paddle boards can be arranged prior to arrival. Salcombe, 15 mins away and Kingsbridge under 10. We have put together a useful manual with all our favourite restaurants, cafes, sailing schools etc etc.....

    Modern, newly renovated guest house in the heart of Kingsbridge. Our old stables have been lovingly converted into a bright cosy space, while still retaining character of the past. Situated just off Fore Street through a quiet alleyway to a tranquil private south facing courtyard garden with private entrance. The perfect location to explore the stunning beaches and wonderful coastal walks of the beautiful South Hams countryside. Walkable to all amenities, restaurants, pubs and the estuary.
    The Space - Our cosy, quirky detached guest house has everything a couple, friends or small family would need for a relaxing stay. The open plan living and kitchenette is a perfect space to cook and relax. The kitchen is equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, hob, small oven, pans and utensils to cook. The sofa converts as a small double bed for extra guests. There is WiFi, a smart T.V and a few games provided. The bathroom has a large new shower and towels. The separate double bedroom with cosy duvet has high ceilings and feature stone wall. It has enough room to fit a travel cot (available on request). There is a chest of draws and hangers. Just outside is a private sunny courtyard with seating to relax.
    Overview Kingsbridge is a friendly market town. Every other Saturday is the Farmers Market near the pretty estuary and every Wednesday is the local market produce in the Kings Cinema. There are lovely bakeries, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy, all in walking distance from your guest house. Nearest amenities Supermarket - Tescos and Morrisons are less than 10 mins walking distance and a newsagent just a few shops up the road opens until late. Local produce - All on the high street are 3 yummy Bakeries, Alans apples is a local green groceries, 2 butchers and a great fish mongers. ATM & Banks- Just a few mins walk on high street. Activities South Hams is an incredible beautiful place, it is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With so many things to do and places to explore, It will be hard to choose between, coastal walks, trekking, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, horse riding, shopping and beach combing. It is also a fantastic place to just completely relax, unwind and kick back. There are beautiful estuaries for boating, paddle boarding and kayaking (we can help arrange hire). We are only 10 mins drive to Bantham the best surf beach in South Hams, 15 min drive to the beautiful Salcombe town and its beaches and to the pretty Hope cove, to name a few of the wonderful beaches to visit. South hams has an action packed calendar for the year of local events, from food and music festivals, regattas, art trails and many more.

    Perfect for one or two ... an ideal escape at any time of the year. Room for four ... but, being bijoux, it's a little cosier. Two steps lead through the stable door into the beamed kitchen with Belfast sink, terracotta tiled floor and a full range of high spec appliances. Well equipped, so you can actually cook, and an espresso machine, with milk frother, for a morning treat. An archway leads into the beamed lounge with circular dining table, two soft chairs, window seat, small sofa, footstool and inglenook fireplace with log burning stove.     Townsend Barn has been converted into a well equipped 2 bedroom holiday cottage offering an ideal base for a couple or a couple with a baby. Private parking is available but for one car. The barn is detached and sits at the foot of the owner’s garden with private access and ample outside seating and eating space to enjoy. Free Wi-fi access is provided.
    The cottage offers a fantastic base for exploring the South Hams. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen /living space with a well equipped, thoughtfully presented kitchen area and cosy seating area for watching TV, or playing board games. A Nespresso machine is provided for guests use. There is also a small dining area and a separate cloakroom. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor which has a comfortable double bedroom with a view over the garden and beyond towards Hope Cove and a single room with a cot. There is a modern shower room with sink and toilet. Outside seating is provided.
    The cottage sits in the pretty village of Galmpton, nestling amidst beautiful South Devon rolling countryside. Hope Cove, a mile away, is a former fishing village and now home to lovely pubs and restaurants plus beaches and walks across stunning cliffs, with access to the SW Coast Path. Malborough lies a mile and a quarter away in the other direction, boasting 2 pubs, a petrol station and a well stocked convenience store. Less than 4 miles is Salcombe, famous as a sailing centre, a beautiful estuary and harbour. with spectacular walks over National Trust headlands with many beaches and coves. There is a stunning golf course 3 miles away at Thurlestone. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge with shops, cinema and leisure centre is 3 miles away. Walks to Hope Cove, the wonderful South Milton Beach, Soar Mill Cove, and Salcombe can all be started from Townsend without the need to start the car.

    Our charming shepherd hut provides cosy accommodation for two with stunning views to the countryside nestled in its own meadow on our small farm. Although our beautiful hut is hidden away in a peaceful quiet location, there’s something for everyone nearby. Located in the heart of the South Hams countryside near the town of Modbury there are spectacular views, walks and scenery all year round.
    Drive down our private lane and park in the car park before a short (200m) walk down the fields to access the hut. The double French doors open up to reveal a beautiful characterful interior. At one end is a built in double bed, with lots of storage underneath. There’s an open plan living and kitchen space with power points for your electrical items. A door at the other end leads to the shower room with electric shower and WC. For the colder nights you can stoke up the wood burner, providing plenty of warmth. The galley kitchen has all the basics (including tea, coffee and sugar) and provides a simple space with a useful drop-leaf table for cooking up your own meals. There is a fridge to keep the essentials cold and an electric hob, kettle and toaster. Outside the French doors is a decked covered balcony with table and chairs so you can relax and enjoy the views in peace and quiet. A perfect setting to enjoy an alfresco dinner at the end of the day or a game of cards. Feel free to use the BBQ or fire pit (some wood provided) in the evening, you may even hear the rustle of the local badgers, deer and wildlife in the fields. We are a short walk from Andrews Wood Nature Reserve, an established woodland with a collection of ferns and beautiful wildflowers. A walk through Andrews Wood takes you past a ruined farmstead and gardens long abandoned by people. Exmoor ponies graze the wood which is home to the Heath Lobelia which is thought to exist in just six locations in England, making Andrews Wood a site of Special Scientific Interest. A short 30 minute drive from the farm will find you in picturesque Dartmoor National Park for some breathtaking walks. In the opposite direction, some of the West Country’s best beaches can be found. Bantham or Bigbury for the surfers (or sunbathers!) and plenty of coastal paths for the hikers. If shopping is more your thing there are plenty of small towns to potter through including Totnes, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. There are lots of places to eat nearby more details and recommendations will be in your welcome pack. Less than a mile from the hut you can easily walk to the local pub which has a well-stocked shop opposite if you’ve left any of your essentials at home! There are lots of places to eat nearby

    Less than 1 mile from the South West coast path and the famous surfing beach at Bantham, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 'Driftwood' sleeps two (plus 2 on sofa bed) people in one bedroom. Light and airy accommodation with stunning views across the valley of West Buckland. There is off street parking on a shared drive but the apartment is tucked away and private, with it's own large deck and small private garden.
    The light and airy master bedroom and living area is on the upper floor, above the garage making the most of the views. There is a fresh, modern compact kitchen/dining area with a table and chairs, a generous bathroom en suite leading from the bedroom. Wireless internet access is also available. There is no mobile reception in the house, but you can get mobile reception with O2 in the garden where you park your car, freesat HD TV, DVD player.
    Close the the famous surfing beach at Bantham. There are two local pubs, The Sloop Inn at Bantham (10 minute walk) and The Village Inn at Thurlestone. There is also a café at Bantham village stores with a terrace which overlooks the beautiful Avon river flowing into the sea. There is also a bus on the beach which serves tasty food and drinks.

    A charming cottage situated on popular Brownston Street in the heart of Modbury. With lovely period features the open plan lounge and kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for home cooking and relaxing in the evenings. Two double bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom make this cottage perfect for couples, families and friends a like. A sunny courtyard garden completes this property making it an ideal residence for your relaxing stay in South Devon. Dogs are welcome by prior approval.
    Light and airy throughout the cottage, downstairs is an open plan lounge and kitchen space. Fully equipped for home cooking with a dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, the space also boasts a 50" SMART TV with unlimited WIFI access and complimentary NETFLIX included. A kitchen island with stools provides a quirky eating area, with a smoothie maker and Tassimo coffee machine for your daily fix. A washing machine, iron and ironing board, airer and outside washing line are also available for your use. Situated on the first floor is an open plan bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It has direct access to the bathroom. The bathroom boasts a bath with shower mixer taps as well as a separate shower, toilet and sink. Guest towels, essential toiletries and a hairdryer are provided for your use. Up a further flight of narrow but quirky wooden steps is the second double bedroom located in the eaves of the loft conversion. Period beams and sky windows make this space a treat to stay in. Bedside tables and an end of bed bench provide storage for your stay. Please note there are no electrical sockets in the loft room and there are some height restrictions in the eaves. Please note access to the bathroom and loft room is via the open plan bedroom on the first floor. There is a courtyard garden to the rear of the property with an outside hose pipe and washing line. There are gates separating it from a property at the rear and next doors garden. There is flexibility with check-in and check-out times thanks to a key safe system installed. Well behaved dogs are welcome for a small extra charge. £10 per dog for entire length of stay. Maximum of 2 dogs. Please inform us upon booking if you will be bringing your four legged friend! Please note both sets of stairs are wooden and can be difficult to navigate for the elderly or guests with mobility difficulties. Children are welcome, infants also welcome but please bear in mind there are no stair gates or cots provided. There is no allocated parking space, instead on the street parking is on a first come first served basis and runs along the length of Brownston Street. The property is situated in the middle of Brownston Street. A public pay and display car park is available in Modbury centre and is reasonably priced.
    The Georgian market town of Modbury is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by the rugged splendour of Dartmoor and the sandy dunes of the South Devon beaches less than 5 miles away. The town is well equipped with many independent food, art and gift shops along with warm inviting inns and restaurants. A well stocked Co-Op food shop is just a short stroll away, open 7 days a week from early until 10pm. Situated in the South Hams, the South Devon coastline offers many unspoilt beaches and fabulous coastal walks, with the stunning golden sands of Wonwell, Mothecombe, Bigbury on Sea, Bantham and Salcombe only a short drive away.

You can walk to the local village store and pub, yet nearby to the chic towns of Salcombe & Dartmouth.
    Greenlands is a detached bungalow with enclosed garden, in a location which boasts simply amazing views of the beautiful countryside, towards the River Avon estuary. You have the peace and quiet that such a detached property offers, but within walking distance to the local pub and village store. This comfortable property is well equipped for exploring the beauty of Dartmoor to the north and the Devonshire coast to the south- Moor to Sea! All on one level, the property has a large kitchen diner finished to a high standard, from which you can enjoy your meals in the open-plan dining space or bask in the rolling views from the stunning conservatory. The conservatory is the perfect space to make the most of the location, whilst finally finding the time to read that book you've been meaning to for a while! Adoramos tanto a área que este é o nosso sexto feriado na região e o terceiro apartamento da Burgh Island Causeway que já provamos. No entanto, posso dizer com confiança que o Apartamento 16 superou todas as outras, destacando-se em todos os aspectos. O apartamento é muito bonito e cuidadosamente mobilado e decorado, com toques adoráveis, como o bolo de limão nos esperando, uma máquina de café Tassimo que encantou minha filha e uma grande variedade de equipamentos de praia, jogos de tabuleiro, vídeos e livros. As vistas da Ilha Burgh são deslumbrantes, que prazer olhar pela janela e ver as ondas tão perto da janela e o maravilhoso cenário do hotel Burgh Island e o peculiar trator marítimo indo e vindo da ilha. Os funcionários do restaurante são muito simpáticos e acolhedores eo restaurante é uma ótima opção se você não quiser cozinhar ou sair no carro para comer. Contratamos pranchas de stand up paddle e Sea Kayaks da Discovery Surf School, que estão convenientemente localizados na praia, assim como o vendedor de café Beach Barista e o Venus Cafe. Há tantos lugares encantadores para explorar nas proximidades e sempre que voltávamos ao Apartamento 16, sempre sentíamos que estávamos voltando para uma casa adorável e relaxante.   • Em primeiro lugar - uau !! Que lugar e que localização! Sinceramente, não posso recomendar este apartamento e seus anfitriões o suficiente. Meu parceiro e eu acabamos de voltar de uma semana aqui e nós dois concordamos que é o melhor lugar que já ficamos - na verdade, havia tantos 'melhores medos' sobre este feriado e o apartamento, que é difícil saber onde começar. A comunicação dos anfitriões foi clara, oportuna e amigável - eles nos informaram os detalhes importantes e verificamos que estávamos aproveitando a estadia sem ser OTT. Fomos recebidos com o melhor bolo que meu parceiro ou eu já provamos na chegada ao apartamento (um dos muitos pequenos toques adoráveis) e, não digo isso de ânimo leve, mas as vistas superaram o bolo! Durante toda a semana, não conseguimos superar a incrível vista do mar, da ilha e da praia; além disso, a varanda com vista para todos os itens acima foi o paraíso. As instalações eram fantásticas e tomar um bom café (da máquina) ou um smoothie (existe um fabricante de smoothies) na varanda tornou-se um começo de dia para nós e os 2 excelentes chuveiros da floresta tropical também nos ajudaram a preparar-nos para o dia. Quando conseguimos nos afastar do apartamento, a praia (literalmente fora do bloco de apartamentos) era fina, areia dourada com águas cristalinas e aproveitamos ao máximo as instalações locais que estavam a poucos metros do apartamento, incluindo esportes aquáticos aluguel de equipamentos, 3 cafés, uma loja de praia e um pub .... ah yeh, e um trator marítimo para chegar à ilha (onde fica o pub) quando a maré está chegando. Esta revisão pode quadruplicar o comprimento se eu mencionar todos os aspectos maravilhosos da nossa estadia, mas, como acima, listarei os destaques restantes que outras pessoas podem achar úteis - máquina de lavar louça, máquina de lavar (com detergente não biológico) ), muitos jogos e DVDs fornecidos pelos anfitriões, acomodações excepcionalmente elegantes e limpas, estacionamento seguro trancado, baú de jogos de praia, TV de tela plana no lounge e TV nos quartos, espaço de estar espaçoso, o pub na ilha oferece pizzas sem glúten, o carrinho de café na praia faz brownies sem glúten, o café faz milk-shakes sem glúten (que foram incríveis). Após a análise mais longa de todos os tempos, basta dizer obrigado aos nossos anfitriões e que reservaremos novamente muito em breve após a nossa incrível estadia.

Utilizamos a academia e piscina que estavam sempre vazias. Cozinha foi bem abastecido com utensílios de qualidade etc. A roupa de cama e toalhas também foram de boa qualidade.     Pentillie is a newly renovated cosy seaside bungalow with spectacular views overlooking Challaborough beach and the iconic Burgh island. The patio, decking and garden area gets the best part of the sun through the day with beautiful sunsets over the sea, also giving you access to a clean, sandy beach popular with surfers, only 20 metres away. Go on an adventure and explore the South West coast path, one way taking you to the secluded Ayrmer cove, the other to Bigbury on sea and Burgh island.
    Pentillie is a fairly new build with good disabled access. there is a slope to the front door and everything is on one level with larger door frames. there is one step out onto the patio and a further few steps down to the decking. For access to the cliff path from the back gate there are five slightly deeper steps with a handrail. Key safe check in. The bungalow has been set up for your comfort and functionality, all storage in the house is for you to store your belongings in. The rooms comprise of: A large master bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside tables. A twin room with two single beds, wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside table. Bathroom with toilet, sink and a bath with shower unit. A few bathroom essentials will be provided. A separate toilet room with sink. A fully equipped cosy country style kitchen with washing machine. A good sized open plan lounge and dinning room with large double sliding glass doors leading to the patio and BBQ area. Even the views of the bay sat on the sofa are amazing. Full use of the Smart TV and WIFI. One well behaved dog is welcome but is not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. The garden is enclosed. There are lots of dog friendly beaches nearby in low season, and a walk / short drive away in high season. You will be provided with a welcome pack giving you all the information you need about the bungalow and surrounding area. Using our knowledge of the area having lived here for 15 years we have put together some local walking guides so you can get the best out of this breathtaking area of Devon. Alongside this we will gift you a hamper of delicious seasonal local produce.
    there is a local shop about 100m away for all your daily items. Challaborough bay holiday park clubhouse is about 80 m away where they have a restaurant and bar on the beach front. There is a surf shop where you can hire kayaks, surf equipment and even get surf lessons. You can also buy a day pass for the swimming pool and gym for £4 adult and £2 child (swimming pool only). Nearby there is a fish and chip shop.

    This is a very comfortable and attractive living space and would suit a professional person looking for a room that is a home away from home. It is in the heart of the beautiful South Hams and offers stylish contemporary living in the desirable town of Modbury. Small South facing garden with sunny rooms and safe and secure. Parking available, including locked garage if needed. Modbury has its own Fair which will run from 5th to 13th May with a whole week of activities. This house can also accommodate a couple as the bedroom is a double room with large wardrobe. There is a private bathroom with bath and shower.     The neighbourhood is largely professional.
