Málaga: bebidas e vida noturna

Restaurante de Tapas

“While it can get somewhat crowded with tourists, if you are patient or avoid peak times, it's easy to find a perch and soak up the atmosphere…...great to try sweet and dry wines from local grapes, vermouths and liqueurs. The old storerooms are a collection of fascinating interconnected spaces, decorated with trailing plants, photos of celebrities and bullfighters.”

“Fashionable club with Baroque decor in the centre. Loud music and frenetic dancing – not a place for a quiet chat.”

“Founded in 1840 and they say visited by Picasso - isn’t this already enough? Antique wine bar filled with old posters from "Ferias" wine barrels and small seafood tapas. Please do not leave Malaga without trying a glass of ‘El Pajarete” the sweet wine of Málaga. ”

“Atypical tapas, singing barmen & handwritten chalk bills, this hidden place is very famous to locals and cheers you up in a great atmosphere. Great apero from Vermouth to Pajarete. Pop in during mornings, lunch or evenings!”

“Next to the ‘Cervantes’ municipal theatre, in the historic centre, you will find the modern restaurant of the Dutch Hélène. On the terrace you can experience the cosy atmosphere of the typical Spanish square. The menu consists of pastas, salads, tapas and various exotic and vegetarian dishes. Apart from the creative kitchen, Vino Mio is also known for its flamenco shows. Artists perform here nightly from 8 pm to 9.30 pm. Great restaurant. Highly recommended.”

“This local market is located directly in front of our house, here you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish, as well as a snack in the cafe. For large purchases, we advise you to visit the central market Mercado Central Atarazanas. ”

“They have two branches the original one at calle Cervantes 8. 952 21 89 90. Book in advance. And a new one close to the cathedral C/ Postigo De Los Abades, 4. 952 60 23 89. I prefer the original one, but the one next to the catedral is a good option if you are downtown. Malaga traditional cuisine. I recommend ensaladilla rusa, porra, and flamenquín among others.”
