“Come here during weekday lunch - they have an AMAZING executive lunch menu that is also affordable. Spanish cuisine - also something that's quite popular in Miami. You may have to Uber for this one, but it's so close by that it will be cheap to get to.”

“Little Havana's only true beer bar is the brainchild of David and Cici Rodriguez, owners of the Miami Brew Bus and cofounders of Kush Wynwood. The duo's experience helming beer-centric businesses is evident in the Calle Ocho establishment, featuring rotating taps (check out the chalkboard menu to see what's new) and double coolers filled with cans and bottles of local, American-made and internationally brewed varieties. To order, grab your favorite and give it to the bartender to ring up—simple as that. Union Beer also has vintage arcade games to keep you busy between sips. ”

“Little Havana’s charming seafood shack will make you crave bivalves the next time you’re in the ’hood. The Miami-style New England–inspired eatery (got that?) offers six varieties of East, West and Gulf Coast oysters daily. From Prince Edward Island’s Cooke’s Cove Malpeque to Florida’s Apalachicola Bay, the day’s selection is written on the chalkboard menu. Plus, Ella’s raw bar is stocked with seasonal favorites like stone crab claws, local fish ceviche and fresh starters, like taquitos and tostadas. For a taste of the neighborhood, try the calle lobster roll on a toasted medianoche roll or the surf ’n’ turf frita Cubana, featuring a chorizo patty topped with lump crab meat and Ella’s special sauce. ”

“You want to take back an amazing cigar from Miami? I recommend the Little Havana Cigar factory. I've been shopping there for my cigar for a few years now and the manager and staff are just amazing. Top notch service and they have most cigars out there on the market. The lounge is relaxing to have a smoke at, very much that Miami vibe, and you have the option of having Cuban coffee while e joying your smoke. To attain an authentic Cuban cigar in Miami is still difficult and you will likely only be able to find fakes. Trust close to no one who claims they are selling an 'authentic Cuban.' Especially street vendors in Miami Beach and miscellaneous stores. ”

“Trying to classify the food at Cardon y el Tirano is nearly impossible, especially because chef/owner Francisco Anton doesn't label his cuisine. But the eatery is truly a find. Tucked away in a strip mall, the small dining room holds no more than ten tables, yet the menu offers a seemingly never-ending number of plates. Whether you order the Asian-style lechón dumplings ($11) or the Venezuelan-inspired arepitas ($4), you are sure to be transported to another part of the world.”
