“Another awesome local coffee shop that has a lovely menu as well! Built in an old historic home, the feel of this place is very cozy and you can either be out in the middle of the crowd or tuck away in a corner or unused meeting room. Keep an eye out for events here!”

“ICE CREAM FOR STRENGTH!! Pop's is an old fashioned ice cream parlor with amazing floats, splits, sodas, etc. featuring local Homestead Creamery ice cream. This is also a great spot for some of the most decadent comfort food sandwiches you've ever had. The pimento grilled cheese is our favorite! Also worth noting, is how gluten-free friendly this establishment is. GF bread for sandwiches, GF ice cream cones, and delicious locally made GF layered cake!”

“Not only do they have locally roasted coffee (Red Rooster Roasters from Floyd, VA) but they will also be a great way to start your exploration of the Grandin Village area of Roanoke. This is a unique part of town, the center of which is the local movie theater, "The Grandin Theater" as well as the Roanoke Natural Foods CoOp. Also nearby are plenty of restaurants and shopping at local businesses. ”

“Upscale thrift shop with small art gallery featuring local artists, large cafe for breakfast/lunch only, and awesome prices on gently used clothes, furniture, antiques, knick-knacks..... you name it. Things sell fast here so if decide to come back later after you "think about it", it may be gone in a few hours . All proceeds, including meals, benefit our local rescue mission. ”

“It really is just down the street. If you need to catch a sports game or just grab a beer, this joint does the job. Nothing fancy by any means, but a solid watering hole. It's a sports bar.”
