“Welcome to Coogee Pavilion, or as the locals call it, “The Pav”. The ground floor is perfect for family get-togethers and casual dining. The menu is made for sharing; from lobster rolls, sashimi and freshly shucked oysters, to the wood-fried pizza and kids meals.”

Restaurante Italiano

“With an ever evolving menu focused on modern Italian cuisine and celebrating seasonal flavours, the intimate and elegant Dining Room is the beating heart of Icebergs Dining Room and Bar. Arranged to take in the famous view of Bondi, by day or night, it makes an unforgettable backdrop to a menu inspired by Maurice Terzini’s Italian heritage and executed with the skill of head chef Monty Koludrovic. Over the years the Dining Room has been at the forefront of evolving the perception of Italian food and shaking up the way Australians eat Italian. The menu is designed to give you a seasonally changing opportunity to sample dishes that reflect the depth of Italian cuisine, created with the best produce that Australia has to offer, including sustainable seafood, artisanal produce and the occasional hint of native Australia.”

“Hotel Ravesis - There are four ways to drink at Hotel Ravesis – post-swim, downstairs with a cold schooner or cider; late night on a packed dancefloor with a vodka lime and soda or bubbles; on the side balcony with a crisp rosé (which they've got on tap here) that'll match the facade's pink paint job; or on the front balcony, perhaps exploring more of the wine list or diving into the fruit-heavy cocktail menu. ”

Beer Garden

“A great little spot for watching the world go by. It's a short ferry trip from Circular Quay, or catch the 324 bus from William Street heading towards Kings Cross. Watsons Bay is also home to some good child-friendly beaches, as well as the local nudist beach, Lady Jane's.”

“If you don't want to queue outside this burger bar that's more popular than a pop-up puppy party catered by Messina, timing is everything. Get in early for any chance at a table, or wait until the dinner rush has worn off – well after 9pm, but there are still no guarantees. Territory is hard won here so barricade yourself in with baskets of fried chicken and bottles of natural wine (ask for the list from behind the bar) once you get a seat.”

“The Oaks is a Sydney institution, and a great example of the cities buzzing gastro pub scene. Grab a seat in the beer garden under the enormous Oak Tree or in winter inside by the fireplace. Located at the top of the hill, just a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk. ”
