“Highly Recommended. About an hour drive, North on US 19. The Sponge Docks are always a great time, especially if you have family or friends visiting from out of the area, they will have a great time! There's a myriad of retailers and restaurants! If you aren't hungry, thirsty, or in the mood to walk or shop, you can still take in the beautiful and charming locale! Great way to kill a few hours, especially in the autumn and winter months!”

“True to its name, this is a spectacular place to view sun setting into the Gulf of Mexico. A free monthly concert series takes place on the beach and is typically scheduled on Thursdays closest to the full moon. The park/beach has grills, sheltered picnic tables, bicycle stands and public restrooms a nautical themed play area, and a boat launch (by permit only).”

“A bit of a drive to Tarpon Springs, but worth it if you like 80s style arcade games. One price to get a wrist band and play as much as you like.”

“We had a wonderful experience with kind and generous staff and crew. Very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the sponge factory film - it was very educational. The gentlemen running the boat were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They did their best to make sure we saw the dolphins. Got us to the island and we were able to get great photos and found sponges and shells! Great day and great activity. Would definitely go again!”
