Parque
“The Griftpark is a park created on an old factory. It has been intensely cleaned and turned into a city park, with a big playground, dog park, a small farm, skate park and restaurant. It is a popular place to hang out, specially in the summer.”

Castelo
“De Haar Castle is the largest castle in the Netherlands. At the end of the 19th century the castle was restored by the famous architect Pierre Cuypers, who is also designer of the Central Station and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The castle is from the 13th or 14th century and is built in a neo-gothic style, but the interior is eclectic, since it has been shaped by different residents. It features many nail-proof decorations, old furniture pieces and a silver cutlery with the family crest. There are also many art objects in the castle. Next to the castle is a chapel built and the castle also has a beautiful park and beautiful gardens, which were designed by Hendrik Copijn.”

Castelo
“A visit to De Haar Castle is a journey of discovery to a marvelous world. There are only a few castles in Europe that have the same ideal image of a medieval fortress with towers and ramparts, with canals, gates and drawbridges as De Haar. The castle - which is the largest and most luxurious castle of The Netherlands - was entirely restored and partially rebuilt in the late 19th century and it rises like a real fairy-tale castle from a park with large trees, surrounded by old gardens and ponds. The park and gardens surrounding De Haar Castle - covering 135 acres of land - are worth a visit in their own right. Nice tours inside & outside the castle for children as www.kasteeldehaar.nl ”
