“Villa Ephrussi from the Belle Epoque period is one of the true jewels of the Côte d'Azur. The villa was built in 1912 for Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild. The Baroness filled the mansion with antique furniture, paintings, sculptures, and an extensive collection of rare porcelain. There are nine gardens on the estate, each in a different style. They are classified by the French Ministry of Culture as the Notable Gardens of France. The villa is also the location of the annual summer Opera Azuriales festival.
