Café
“The Beach Café at Beach Road, Wells-next-the-Sea is in an idyllic location backed by mature pinewoods and a stone’s throw from the beach. It’s a fun and vibrant place to eat, drink and meet. We’ve got indoor and outdoor seating and there’s WiFi if you need it. Eat in or take away, you’re bound to find a good reason to drop in. Enjoy fresh local produce at its best. We have sandwiches and rolls made each day with various tempting fillings, along with sausage rolls, pasties and pastry slices. To start off the day, our bacon or sausage baps are just the treat. If it’s coffee and cake your looking for, then our cake table just oozes temptation and our excellent, 100% rain forest alliance certified coffee, or a delicious hot chocolate topped with cream, are a good choice. In the winter months enjoy a warming cup of soup in front of the wood-burning fire and then when the warmer weather arrives its time for everyone’s favourite - ice lollies!”

Locality
“The pretty harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea, was once one of the great ports of Eastern England in Tudor times. Today it's used for sailing and crabbing boats. The town has a mix of traditional and contemporary shops on Staithe Street. Just on the outskirts, you'll find a light railway which takes on a four mile train ride to Walsingham. The walk from the town to the beach takes about 30 minutes, or driving is only about 5 minutes. ”
