Within walking distance of our Airbnb, and nestled in the Kearny Mesa community, is the famous Convoy District. Due to its popularity as a diverse Asian center, it has recently been re-designated as The Convoy Asian Cultural District. There are several major Asian groceries including H Mart which is just a 5-minute walk north through our neighborhood There is no shortage of excellent authentic Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese restaurants. More recently there has been a growth of Asian dessert cafes such as boba cafes and Korean shaved ice!
