Beach walks

This beach is the closest and the quietest beach. If the tide is low enough you can get around the point to Cresent beach, and walk all the way to Ecola Point. Just be aware of the tide so you can make it back in time!

Exploring

Haystack rock rises 235 feet at the edge of the shoreline. The iconic rock is a National Wildlife refuge where you can observe tidepools teeming with sealife. It is also an active seabird nesting spot, famous for its colony of Tufted Puffins which you can observe from spring through summer.
