It is best to arrive around sunset (~6.30pm) as you get to see the street lanterns slowly lighting up against the pink and orange sunset sky. FRI, SAT and SUN nights only.

NON-HALAL (serves pork and beer) Try out their local Dayak dishes. I'd recommend the chicken/pork pansuh (meat cooked with local greens in bamboo), BBQ 3-layer pork, local vegetable like Midin, Paku, Tapioca leaves, Ensabi. They usually have a live band that would entertain you with good music too!

A place popular among the locals and tourists. Prices are pretty reasonable for good seafood. Bamboo clams, crabs, fish, prawns, oyster dishes....you name it, YOU'VE GOT IT! It's a HALAL place so you wouldn't be able to order pork here.

Things not to miss at this local favourite: Ais Kacang Cendol, ABC, rojak, belacan bee hoon, laksa, Lok lok. It gets really packed around 3pm when the locals come out for a tea break. This place only operates in the afternoon from 12 noon till 6pm. Closed on THURSDAYS.
