Arguably the most impressive stately home in the country and seat of the Devonshire family since the 16th century. Chatsworth house and garden is a fantastic day out. You can spend a day exploring the gardens or indulge in the art and culture in the house. It's expensive but somewhere everyone should visit once.

Stanton Moor is just 3 miles away from Sunnyside, just outside Birchover. It is a beautiful place to walk, relatively level but high with amazing views. The nine ladies stone circle is magical as are the ancient quarry sites that surround the moor.
