Only a few miles away on back roads, Assawoman offers free park entrance, wildlife, hiking, fishing, crabbing and several different landings in which to launch a kayak, canoe, motor boat or jetski. There's also two different picnic pavilions. It's a locals favorite and must see spot!

Delaware Botanic Gardens at Pepper Creek

The Millville Boardwalk

A wonderful place for a day trip and a must-see for horse lovers! Check their website for entrance fee, but a beautiful drive and wonderful beach. Enjoy!

One of Delaware's state Parks, the Southside beach is a local's favorite for skim boarding and boogie boarding and the Northside is known as surfer's beach (also a favorite among kite boarders, stand up paddle boarders, sea kayakers). Has a bath house and usually plenty of parking. Good beach spot!
