Excellent beer list with wine, kombucha and CBD beverages on tap as well! Get a 16oz can to go if you'd rather drink it here at one55. -Gourmet hot dogs and other food items available out of their open 1/2 kitchen. -It's also family friendly and boasts a great patio with games to keep young children entertained.

The quintessential small town pub- complete with a pool table, locally made shuffle board and a honkey-tonk piano in the corner...although you might need to be a well vetted local to be allowed to play it. ;) The pizza parlor side is family friendly if you have people under 21 in your group!

Bar and restaurant on the far North end of town. Best bet for a late night drink (late being...maybe midnight on the weekends) ;) and really the only "breakfast" spot right in town.

If you have a car, this is my absolute favorite breakfast spot in town. Just off the Kalama River Road exit, so only a 5 minute drive or so. Cozy and small, connected to the camp ground in town. Great food and slow, sweet service.

I prefer Aheles Point cabin to the formal dining room at McMenamin's. This is primarily a bar though, so adults only! (Enjoy a beverage while kids run along the beach!) Only food that is available out here is pizza that is prepared in the main kitchen (about a third of a mile upriver) so if you go that route, be prepared to wait a while!

Need to let the kids run hog wild on your way out of town? There's a great park off Kalama River Road for that (1 exit North of town). It's about a 5 minute drive with a big playground and lovely fields. This is also the fairgrounds, so if you plan right, you might get some good old fashioned small town fair fun!

A couple bars to choose from with decent food-- only spot in town with some actual vegetarian options. However, I only recommend eating here if you are extremely laid back and have absolutely no time frame. I've never once heard someone say their meal came quickly. ;) There is some fun inside the hotel though--ask about the "hidden rooms" and let the young/young at heart hunt them out!

Probably not necessary for me to include this one. It's a pretty obvious must-see. ;)

The park along the river front is gorgeous. On sunny days, walk barefoot along the sandy beach or bring your suit for a dip in the Columbia River. Lots of great picnic spots as well. Sand volleyball, tennis courts, and yummy food and beverage options thanks to the locally famous McMenamin's that built here along the river. Walking under the freeway and over the traintracks in the sky bridge is my favorite way to get to the park- it's a 5-10 minute walk and gives you some great photo opps of downtown, and the Columbia River- especially if you catch the walk at sunset!
