This is about a half hour away from us. It’s our favorite local Italian place and the drive is gorgeous. You’ll wind through rustic hills and basically see cows, hawks, and beautiful California coastal farmland the whole time. The food at CP is probably our favorite Italian food in the area. They have great outdoor seating, and downtown Petaluma is a fun place to eat, window shop, and people watch.

This is a family-owned business that truly goes out of its way to make guests feel like they are family, too. Their prices are some of the most reasonable around, and their food could not be more fresh or outrageously good. They have outdoor and indoor dining, and you’ll feel like you’ve stumbled into a rustic Tuscan garden— with a hint of salty sea breeze every so often!
