We love riding over to Swansboro. This quaint fishing village is just far enough away to feel like you've gone somewhere without driving too far. About 15 minutes depending on traffic. Worth it!

In NC, it's pronounced "BO furt". Waterfront dining, tons of shops, ice cream etc. A nice change of scenery. Roughly 35 minutes by car.
