By far THE BEST Sunday carvery! The Old Inn is a regular stop for us for their amazing carvery. We wouldn't rate this place for a la carte during the week, nothing wrong just basic but 100% for the Sunday carvery.
A bit of a drive across Bodmin Moor (around 30/40mins) but so so worth it and dog friendly

By far THE BEST Sunday carvery! The Old Inn is a regular stop for us for their amazing carvery. We wouldn't rate this place for a la carte during the week, nothing wrong just basic but 100% for the Sunday carvery.

One of the best local cafes. Amazing falafel wraps and I'm no vegetarian, but they are amazing! Lovely 3 mile flat walk around the lake before or after aswell and dog friendly

Only 5 mins down the road, this is our local coffee shop right next to Cardinham woods.
Lovely food all year around and can highly recommend the Chai Latte and posh cheese on toast. Sarah and her team are lovely and will look after you

All I can say about this place is WOW! The most amazing brisket, shoulders and smoked food you will ever eat. There can be a short wait as its always very busy but its outstanding. The homemade milkshakes are also amazing! Check the opening times on their FB page as they only open during the days not evenings
