cycle from our place down to Dunsford Woods and then up the river to this pub - about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how fit you are feeling! Easier coming back because that's down stream!

Go down to the B3212 and head towards Moretonhampstead. Park just before the bridge on your right, or after the bridge in the National Trust parking. Lovely walks either way.

go through the hamlet of Doccombe and then up the steep hill towards Moretonhampstead. At the top turn right at the crossroads and head up that track until you cross a cattle grid - park and stroll
