I think recommendable item at the Nakamise Dori shopping street is “Ningyoyaki”. Ningyoyaki is confection baked with the cake mold of cute doll. The fillings traditionally come in various bean pastes, but recently there is also custard variety so you can relief if you don’t like bean pastes.
