At the end of the Sandy Cove Road in Terence Bay you will find a lovely small sandy beach. Wade into the Atlantic Ocean, build sand castles, collect some shells, find hermit crabs all from this quaint little beach. From here you can also walk to the SS Atlantic Heritage Site and Boardwalk as well as view the Terence Bay lighthouse.

This 8 km (in and out) trail will expose you to views that you will not forget anytime soon. The trail offers beautiful sunsets and views, and nature abound. You will not be disappointed. Good shoes are recommended (especially if it has been rainy). High Head is rated as a moderately difficult hiking trail.
