It looks like an old gas station but really its a bar. They also sell packaged liquor. I used to call this the goat bar because of the free roaming goats but now its the Llama bar due to, you guessed it, the llamas.

An old classy hotel in the historic Las Vegas plaza. There is a lot of history to be seen in this part of town. There is a great little river walk near here too.

Just keep driving on Ski Basin Road and you'll end up at the top of the mountain! Along the way you'll find 10 Thousand Waves Japanese spa and Izanami restaurant and many excellent hiking trails and camping areas. The aspen vistas are must in the Fall!

Just keep driving on Ski Basin Road and you'll end up at the top of the mountain! Along the way you'll find 10 Thousand Waves Japanese spa and Izanami restaurant and many excellent hiking trails and camping areas. The aspen vistas are must in the Fall!
A good little hike on the way from the cabin to Santa Fe. Off the I-25 Southbound, approximately 1 mile after passing the Valencia exit, keep an eye out for a turnout on the right. It is a dirt parking lot with a small trailhead sign on the north end. A very nice trail criss-crossing a stream through Apache Canyon. About 2 miles in there are steep canyon walls and massive boulders so that's where I usually turn around.
