Amical is THE BEST. Excellent food and bar selection. They also have an awesome patio! I love sitting out there sipping champagne, eating olives and people watching!

OK. This is some of the best food I've had in Traverse City. The Chicken Benedict and the pancakes (yes, pancakes) will be something you think about long after you leave.

You should take a cruise out to Old Mission Peninsula. You can stop at Mari Vineyards or Bonobo winery, and make your way out to the Jolly Pumpkin. Its a comfortable place to fortify.

You can hike the trails in Glen Haven https://www.nps.gov/slbe/planyourvisit/trailsleepingbearpt.htm, or Pyramid Point https://www.nps.gov/slbe/planyourvisit/trailpyramidpt.htm or you can relax on Empire beach for the day and body surf the waves. Please do not miss this majestic natural wonder!

The beach here is cool. There is an excellent hike at the end of the dirt road too. Note: you are hiking in sand. It’s a workout. But the views are worth it!!
