If you want to avoid the city of Hereford, Ledbury is the next biggest place from the apartment in the opposite direction. A high street of independent shops, black and white buildings and historic pubs. Lovely for a relaxed shopping experience. You won't find any of the big names here. Except Boots!

A great day out even with covid restrictions. You can see some amazing animals and learn all about them. On top of that, if you like rollercoasters and the like there's a theme park too.

Perton is a hamlet within Stoke Edith. A short walk from the apartment brings you into Stoke Edith with is church and beautiful houses. Stoke Edith House was burnt down many many years ago, but definitely had a history worth reading about.

Getting into Hereford
From the apartment you can drive into Hereford or get the bus at the end of the road. Through covid the bus is only running every 2 hours and there is no late buses. Check timetables.
You could get a taxi, but being out the city you're looking at £25+ each way and more after midnight.
