Monte-Carlo and the Buddha-Bar found common ground in an exceptional venue: Monte-Carlo’s old cabaret, a concert hall built at the beginning of the 20th century in the building that houses the Casino de Monte-Carlo. The monumental Buddha that is the symbol and fetish of the Buddha-Bar concept finds its home against a sumptuous and luxurious backdrop of oak woodwork, stucco, sculpture and gilding.

Directly west and adjoining Plage du Buse in Roquebrune Cap-Martin but with a separate entrance is Plage du Golfe Bleu. At 700m long, it provides an additional 300m over the Plage du Buse and is equally attractive. Although there is no shade, there is a lot of greenery behind the beach and a view of Monaco rising on a hill to the west. The surface is a mixture of sand and pebbles.
The beach is close to the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin train station. Access is down a series of stairs and through a short tunnel.

In addition to beach-bumming and Champagne-sipping, you can visit the fish at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, the cacti at the Exotic Gardens and the changing guards at the Prince's Palace.
You could also experience some spa treatments at Les Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo or try your luck at the slots of Monte-Carlo Casino. When you're not touring the city's top attractions, simply admire the stunning scenery while sampling some delicious Monégasque fare. How we rank Things to Do.

Shopping
This shopping centre is situated right next door to the Metropole Hotel in Monte Carlo. As you descend the escalators, you immediately see the stunning Xmas tree. Not sure if this looks like this all year round, but the glitz and sparkles are amazing. Certainly the crystal chandeliers are out of this world creating a very opulent and luxurious feel to this centre. The shops look lovely although LV, Chanel, Miu Miu, Dior etc are in a different place in the town so that was a shame. Lovely places to eat and relax during shopping. Well worth a visit just to experience the sheer opulence of it all.
