1 mile for Megan & Chase's. Lots of trails, cross country skiing, golf, a beach/playground, wildflower garden walk, etc. Rent bikes, skis, etc. at The Trailhead. Be sure to check out Cajun Twist restaurant for gumbo, beignets, muffaletta etc.

Only a few minutes from Megan and Chase's. Golf and a great indoor kids play area. The restaurant there isn't anything special, we'd recommend checking out one of the other places in our guidebook, but it will certainly do in a pinch.
