Montreal's iconic mountain.... Mont Royal! Walk up to the top for a beautiful view of the city. On Sundays, there is "Tam Tams" - a huge laid back gathering of people playing music and hanging out (look for the big statue along Parc Ave. south of Mt Royal Ave.)
You can BIXI (rental bike) there or take a short bus ride (97 ouest) from my apartment.
